Thanks for sharing this video Jim, always appreciate those who share knowledge of electrical systems, regardless of what country or system they are intended for, even if it does not directly apply to the system I utilise. Always interesting to see how things are done in different countries and parts of the world! Also, had to say I couldn't help but notice your voice reminded me immediately of Phil Harris & Rock-A-Doodle, amongst other animated features he contributed too. Really makes watching and adsorbing the information pleasant I must say.

Thanks for the video, Jim. At 5:40 you mentioned that the secondary current would be 40A. Isn't the current actually 20A, particularly in the balanced case, because "10A + 10A" current would flow in a "clockwise" loop (just a chosen convention) through the secondary winding out to the "top" 120V phase, through the loads, then down to the "bottom" 120V phase, finally returning into the winding, with zero current flowing through the neutral?

@jimlewis8161

+pranjal khanduri Delta connected: If you have the phase current multiply the phase current x 1.732 for the line current.Wye or Star connected:The phase current and the line current are equal.Jim
