Though I find Optimus killing a human out of character, but this is so awesome, Optimus killing the one guy who killed someone the autobots. Though, I sometime imagine Optimus killing Gall Trayius from Star Wars Rebels.
Funny thing, even in the old cartoon versions, it's really not. Optimus treats humans as equals, and that includes, if necessary, as enemies in war. He might pull his punches against them if he can, but if a human enemy threatens a human ally like this, he won't hesitate for a nanosecond.

It really bug me that he got an extremely quick and easy death. We spent so much of the film dealing with this guys arrogancy that I wanted to see him embarrassed/ arrested or a more agonizing death for his crimes. I just felt like the quick shot, and he’s instantly dead was not satisfying after seeing what he put Cade through.
@@CassiusSharp dude he kills lockdown who is partly responsible, he didn't have to kill attinger, just shoot the ground causing attinger to go flying, he won't die but will be stunned and cade can end him from there.

Blackmailing Sam with a Watch-Bot. Helping his clients to take over Chicago, while killing innocent civilians. Trying to make Carly his sex slave, even if it means killing Sam, along with the Autobots & Nest, while dooming his own planet for another. At least that garbage got what he didn’t expect, when Sam turned him into a lightning rod. Because no one really cared about him. You even wondered if any of the people that work for him, when he was still alive, were been hunted by Cemetery Wind to be interrogated of what they know about their boss’s connections with the Decepticons. Since a number of Decepticons like Barricade survived the Battle of Chicago.
Buddy he didn't have to kill him, let's not act like optimus and ratchet weren't shooting at the ground at cemetery wind soldiers causing them to go flying but not killing them. He could of done the same here and let cade kill the only other human villain.

Even tho Optimus kill a human was not in character,let's remide that he promised that if he finds out who was responseble for the Death of his friends,he would kill him,and that's him keeping his promise.
