Me to man me and my uncle thought they finally got it right but we were let down hard because we thought it was a rebuilt megatron turning into a canon or gun thing.
Man I think the original deluxe should've been the studio series instead and then the studio series should've been a voyager size Peru Kill. I know, ideal but I guess not possible sadly.
I love the studio series figure, but I have one fatal issue with it, the arms transformation is scary with the lack of clearance, mo matter what way the arm spins, the wheel rubs against something, I was transforming it and I accidentally broke the arm completely off, I ended up getting a replacement a few months later and I refuse to transform either, the one with a broken arm stays in vehicle mode and the other stays in robot mode, what annoys me is that for a transforming figure I can’t transform it without the fear of breaking it again, still love the figure but that issue is very frustrating
I found it has a hinge that you have to unlock at the bicep allowing clearance also there's head storage and weapon storage for shadow raiders head and gun. Besides the backpack this is my definitive Lockdown
The original Que/Wheeljack from DOTM ain't that bad at all! Legs are a little chunky and restricted but it's a good one! I don't see Studio Series doing much better!
His face was not silver in the movie and in my opinion for some reason I hate it (it doesn’t look bad by any means but I wish his face was a bit darker (oh no))
I wish we had movie transformers figures that I’d be excited for. I’ve barely touched studio series despite the good releases because I just...don’t care about the bay movies and characters. Other than the first movie, I’ve been looking into some movie one figs. Bumblebee was a great movie too. TLDR, give us good live action tf movies.
To be honest neither are great. Ss lockdown is my least favorite studio series transformer. Aoe lockdown was a bummer because it basically was roadbuster but not as elegant
