I think you failed to realize that Lockdown was neither Autobot nor Decepticon, he's a Mercenary Bounty Hunter. He said it himself before he killed Ratchet, "Autobots, Decepticons like little children..." that states that he's neither.

Didn't see this in the comments so I'll mention it, Drift (the Samurai Autobot) used to be a skilled Decepticon warrior known as Deadlock but later switched sides, changed his name, swore off the use of firearms, adopted the Samurai code of honor.

Lockdown is Nether a Autobot or Decepticon, he's just a Bounty Hunter. Also, the Government was Hunting Down Autobots because they cut Ties with them.

the story in this one is really all over the place, but this is perhaps the most violent pg-13 movie ever made. the robots straight up have blood now and just get ripped apart.

I really like this one. I like it a lot. You may not find this interesting but here it is anyway. I live pretty much exactly where Cade is supposed to live at the beginning. Paris Texas. I can be there in twenty minutes. Been there a million times. They did not film the beginning of this in Paris but, somehow some way, it dead ass looks like the real Paris,Texas. So much so that I actually wonder if they DID film it here even though I know they didn't. There's a very specific set of road ways/overpasses that they show pretty much perfectly in this. It looks like Cade lives in Deport on Hwy 271 and Lockdown and the other bad guys chase them the five miles or so north into Paris. Yes it's that true to the actual place that I can tell this. Isn't that unusual for a big Hollywood movie? I'm used to them constantly getting Texas locations in movies wrong. Like in the X-Files movie where you see the Dallas skyline with a freakin desert around it lol. So, as someone who lives literally where this movie begins, I appreciate how it looks true to the real place. I can't believe it. But I appreciate it. Kind of astounded by it to be frank considering it's Michael Bay lol. Also...the next one could have been the best Transformers movie period. They had a good set up for a lot of wild stuff. But they REALLY screwed that up. It's almost a Justice League/Zack Snyder's Justice League situation. Except the good version wasn't filmed...just ALMOST filmed. Or something. I just know that there's an early version in script form or something that sounded AMAZING and what we got was.....not. This one is cool though. I like it just as much as the first and third ones and Bumblebee. Grimlock, the Tyrannosaurus Transformer (who is my favorite Transformers character who isn't Optimus) was basically supposed to be the lead character. They were going to be revealed as the Guardians of the All-Spark from the original and were with it when Megatron caused it to crash onto Earth millions of years ago. That would have been awesome. Last I heard before everything went south with the fifth one for whatever reason is that if Optimus Prime is sort of a Liam Neeson-ish presence then Grimlock was supposed to be the Leonidas (from 300) of the Transformers. Once he has his mind unwiped from what Lockdown did to him in captivity. Just an absolute scary badass beast of a character....but a good guy. Supposedly his real name was to be revealed as Volcanicus Prime. He would've been an equal to Optimus once his mind (and the minds of the other Dinobots) got restored..

Age of Extinction was a good movie but to me, somethings and some characters weren’t needed fr. But overall the movie and its story wasn’t bad at all 👍🏽

The Last Knight is underrated. Granted Bumblebee and Dark of the Moon are the best movies. But TLK is definitely better than Revenge Of The Fallen or Age Of Extinction.
