@@theonewhoismany8072 it got reworked to fit in with with the previous two, I was watching it as the episodes aired and the only problem is they never went in and explained what happened between the end of energon and the start of cybertron which is why it was so jarring
@@DESTRAKON It was later explained in an article by Simon Furman that the Unicron Singularity, the giant black hole that first appeared at the start of Cybertron, acted as a universal reset button that reset all the characters' memories.
@@DESTRAKON the cybertron line was definitely the best line imo. Affordable, looked really cool, fun show, and the transformations were super satisfying. I look back with a lot of love in my heart.
0:39 Ooh that pompous twit! (kicks can) I’m suppose to fight off (can hits him on the head) Oh, Aah! (kicks another can) Off the Autobots while he just sits and oof! (A to of cans fall on top of him) Why me?!
Sideways was the herald of Unicron in Armada but I thought Optimus Prime finished him off with the Requiem Blaster. “Optimus this all could’ve been avoided if you had just listened to Unicron.”
Man this was made 15 years ago? Woah man!! This really is old old! Man! Going back to the past is insane growing up i thought it was the best series of transformers ever i watch it again, and still the same.
@starscream372 they said that the death of unicron unleashed a blast and wiped out everyones memory, theres also a saying that the black hole screwed up their memory
And Sideways should be dead as of Armada. This Sideways for all intents and purposes is not the original Sideways. They're the same in name and nothing else.
They are the same person. Sideways survived because of his possession by Unicron, but the events of Energon forced Unicron to stop possessing him, thus he returned to his original Planet X persona.
They're not the same person at all. Cybertron is not a sequel to Energon. Its a standalone show. Hasbro just called it a sequel in their marketing and added in that scene in the last episode with the Armada kids and Kicker when they dubbed it despite not actually making any script changes in the dub that tie it to Energon, resulting in a lot of confusion. This is why nobody recognizes Sideways, why they're still hiding on earth despite starting to work with humans in Energon, why Starscream is super evil this time, why almost every Transformer from Energon is missing for no reason, why Jetfire is Australian, etc. The comics tried to make up some explanation on how Energon links to Cybertron but it was really bad. Some bullshit about the black hole causing temporal distortions that erased everyone's memory lmfao. In short, viewed as a standalone Cybertron is a really fun time but as a sequel it's still fun, but kinda irritating.
@@vicviper4538 Habro tried to push that but it doesn't make sense. Cybertron should be a seperate series like in Japan. BTW, in Japan, Armada Sideways is named Doubleface and Cybertron Sideways is Noisemaze.
Huh...I actually prefer something over Galaxy Force. I'll admit this does pull at my nostalgia strings, but...is it bad I prefer most of Galaxy Force over Cybertron? GRANTED: Sideways is way funnier than noisemaze, but...come on, Menasor sounds the EXACT same as Coby!
This series was so shoddily written. I don't know what made Hasbro think it was a good idea for them to make the American version of this show a continuation of Energon. It had nothing to do with Energon or Armada in the original Japanese version and they screwed up so many things by making it a sequel in America!
I've wondered the same thing because scattershot has a southern accent, backstop has an african accent, Jetfire has an australian accent, mudflap has a french accent, red alert has a british accent, metroplex, quickmix menasaur and the unnamed both from giant planet have scottish accents, ransack has somewhat of a new york accent and megatron has a cockney british accent.
