logical connections can be made if people are willing to think about it before dismissing the idea, least I think so. Haven't really had a proper conversation with others about these ideas though, Not many around interested in talking or willing to discuss in good faith.

Originally they planned some blocky base that was reminiscent of fortress Maximus but after being convinced of centralizing the base on a central hub they got their current base… really want to see the schematics of the place I know they exist because of the stock footage showing the base being used has a map of the base shown but the angle only allows a small portion

to be fair, armada was the end of the formal war, energon was those not satisfied with the way things ended and thus those who would take advantage gathering them all to find glory once again. By the end of energon most were exhausted and thus only a handful really left willing to fight least that's how the progression of things looks to me

these designs are almost peak takara, while some good 2d animation by say Sunrise studio 7, the 3d is fine and work the designs well

only due to hotshot and red alert being chosen for speed planet I sometimes wonder if at one point someone developing the series somewhere along the way considered Overhaul to be Ironhide since he was planned to be paired with landmine to go to jungle planet

As someone who was about as young and in the same boat, it’s better connected. The major beats have little to no explanation without the context and inadvertently adds story to the other 2 or at least that’s my fan theory where the star saber was the reason the Atlantis sank

​@@Xeno-The-Wanderer There are things that don't make sense if they are connected. For example, in Energon, humans work with the Autobots. The US government knows about them. But in Cybertron, they don't know anything about the Cybertronians. That doesn't make sense. When I was a kid and watched this the first time, that stood out so much. I had been confused until I heard that Cybertron was originally created as a stand-alone in Japan. Hot Shot became a mature and competent leader in Energon but he reversed back to a hotheaded childish kid, throwing away all of the character development in the previous two series. Starscream's personality is completely different.

@@miyako1909 there isn’t any indication the government isn’t aware of them only that the autobots did not make any attempt to contact them there’s even a line least in the dub where Optimus wanted to have a proper plan first before involving humans. Hotshot as a character least from my recollection wasn’t necessarily a leader in Energon only a veteran soldier, his time in armada was more as sub-commander during the last quarter. However hotshot’s characterization is something that’s harder to reconcile than most of the other details but for the most part a lot of them can be reconciled but would need some deductive reasoning as while Galaxy Force is built on what was a planned Energon sequel anything overt in dialogue and even presentation seems to be lost

personally I started with it and then went back watching through the other 2 and for some reason a lot of memories of the early episodes get jumbled as if the opening few episodes weren't seen till later but tangent aside never had energon drain me of motivation to do anything, thought it was a good middle of the road show, not too good but not too bad

Definitely not. Their motivation for joining the race is to get girls. In the final episode, they even fight with each other to ask Thunderblast out. Do people even know what friendship is? I have friends that act exactly like these 2. One of them is married with a son and the other is engaged.
