Man they need an art book containing all the character art once this trilogy is done. I men easy seller. I didn't realise I was would be a cardboard collector thanks to Earthrise. The trailer is why I will be making my first toyhax purchase. Its needs something extra badly. That aside know gonna buy eventually. Need to finish getting the slots filled in Siege though. Missed some along thr way.
Oh man if they had a war for Cybertron trilogy art book I’d get it in a heartbeat. I wonder if that’s what they are waiting for... once this trilogy is done they will release all the art. Should be enough for a nice size book.
Love this review and I really feel that the areas that are push pinned should have been screwed in as well. He looks perfect aside from the lack of blue molded plastic. Great insights! 💯
Great review, man. I haven't held an ER Prime before, but I think I might have an idea what led to the moulding and painting decisions. The front wheels are made of sturdier plastic because it has to be pinned and withstand the assembly process, the back wheels are semi-flexible plastic and might be mushroom pegged, hence the mag gaps to allow some flex during assembly. The gas tanks don't have silver paint on the sides because it'll get scratched up. If you are going to paint the sides, I suggest doing some sanding first and scrape off a few micrometers.
A great review my friend, I felt like maybe you were a little harsh objectively, but everything you said was on point at the same time 100% agreed with all of it. I love the look of the truck, and the trailer just needs help, cant wait to see you work your magic on it.
Hahah yeah after watching it I was a stickler for the colors.... I think the use of pins really annoyed me as a customizer I can deal with wrong colors but being pinned makes it a pain to take a part. 😭😭
you can do the matrix pose you just have to have the arms above his head Psst you should store the gun between the trailer wheels(there is a 5mm port there)

I bought the G1 Earthrise version of G1 Optimus Prime from Hasbropulse.com on yesterday Afternoon. I bought 2 add-on kits for the Earthrise version of the G1 Earthrise Optimus Prime. One of the kits features a gray Roller that comes with 2 cannon barrels. The other kit comes with 3 Laser Rifles for Earthrise OP. I am one of your subscribers.
Great review! Definitely hope a 3rd Party either fixes or replaces the trailer, and includes a Roller drone figure also! My standard for a G3 Optimus Prime trailer is the awesome Fans Project G3 Trailer! THAT toy has EVERYTHING, man, including an extending trailer ramp AND a stealth mode, plus weapons storage and firing missiles, AND... Roller! The Trailer even interacted with the various armor upgrade kits for that first 2007 G3 Optimus, and the BOX even has a display option to include the truck in the packaging for a full display of Optimus Prime WITH the trailer! I know Hasbro is never going to do as much for a regular release trailer, and maybe not even for the MP line, but I think they COULD have at least done a LITTLE more with THIS trailer... Especially where those rear wheels are concerned... Too high, too narrow, and totally gappy in between them!
I'm with you there Larkin, the grey bits on the arms especially how it shows on top in truck mode that just gets to me I just think why? And I was telling Kato I kinda like the extra transformation in the legs on Siege Optimus the look of the covered wheels and not just pegged together it was just a little something more but he is an awesome figure I can't wait to check him off the list, he's up there. Great start to this line not a bad figure in the bunch !!! 🖖🤖 He can hold the Matrix over his head with both hands.
Great review! Yes you cut out the map and tape it together with the maps of other earthrise figures to see the galaxy and all the planets from the 86 movie including junkion!
He's ok. I'm happy with my Siege Optimus. I'm just looking for a trailer from another company. I got the smokestack upgrade kit for Prime, looks more G1ish than this Prime. Unfortunately, no kit for this Prime due to the pins instead of screws to switch. And the trailer, looks cheap and too small. I love the line, but I'm skipping on him, Astrotrain, & Wheeljack. Thanks! I’m gonna try some paint apps on mine. There’s a lot of detail that I’m not sure where toyhax will go as there’s not a lot of flat surfaces inside the trailer.
How do find Optimus prime? Because I tried Walmart and target, but I could find him, I tried shopping sites, but Optimus prime is so expensive! Where can you find Optimus prime at?
