This is the best comment I've seen in a transformers RU-vid video ever It encapsulates why Grimlock is the most badass transformer of all time, he is not only one of the most dangerous warriors in the universe but at peak anger he can bring the wrath of Earth's most evolutionary advanced predators Tyrannosaurs Rex I'm a huge Dinosaur nerd Tyrannosaurs Rex was the last of not only the clade of predatory dinosaurs known as Tyrannosaurs but was also the last huge predatory dinosaur from the cretaceous that was their all the way up to the mass extinction the prey it had to deal with were the peak of Ornischian dinosaur evolution Triceratops, enlarged osteoderms and horns and a frill Ankylosaurs an armored tank with a huge with like tail, (it's no wonder new studies are showing that these huge predators hunted in packs) and yet still over 250 million years of evolution had created a predator equipped to hunt them and it's no wonder that this animal terrorizes our minds today but also served as a form for a weapon like no other for a warrior to take the form of fitting Grimlock's personality so much that he became not just the ultimate warrior, not just an apex predator, but a GOD one that would feed off his enemy's as his anger grows before unleashing a furry from 66 million years ago from earths history becoming everything shockwave had wanted and so so much more....

@@matthewbrewer7174 well actually, grimlock would win between him and Prediking,(this top part is in robot mode) grimlock is 5 times bigger then both Optimus and Megatron, while Prediking is a little bit bigger then prime and megs, grimlock can one punch a predicon to death without his rage, grimlock is 3 times bigger in every way compare to Prediking, and grimlock is way too big to fit inside the nemesis halls and also grimlock was originally a tank before he and the other dinobots were made into dinobots and also grimlock has survived the tower from the sea of rust from when he destroyed it and also that high up in the sky and still came out a-ok, and which Prediking really isn't that high in defense of grimlock, still strong but not as much as grimlock
Why? you only play as an awesome unstoppable larger than life force of metallic pre-historic nature, armed with a giant sword, can transform into a fire breathing T-Rex (aka the king of the dinosaurs), and your only option for long-range engagement is by picking up normal size cybertronians and chunking them at your target...ok my only complaint is that it wasn't longer and that the sword wasn't on fire.
Nothing will ever quite beat the adrenaline rush of watching Grimlock unleash his rage as a true Dinobot, obliterating any fool crazy enough to try and take him on

Y'know... what if Grimlock went up against Hulk? I kinda feel like hulk would win, but im also pretty sure Grimlock would give him a run for his money. Also, this music would be PERFECT for that fight lol.
Kinda a pity his attacks got so boring by the end. Literally the same four swings every time. Every enemy had exactly one execution for each form, so no variety there, and his dino form had three basic attacks in sequence as well. If he had a bit more variety in his attacks, he could have been interesting for longer, but as it is, I just missed the fluid shooting and transforming all the other characters except Bruticus had. Bruticus is the closest to Grimlock in the game, gameplay-wise, but at least his segments were short power trips instead of this boring three-level-long slog of melee swarmer soccer.
Dude trust me, on hard this was easily the *best* part of the game despite its repetitiveness. Let me explain So we all know how fucking difficult it is on hard difficulty (i still havent beat till all are one yet) it took me 6 hours to beat the mission where jazz and cliffjumper are in the sea, it took me fucking forever to get to this mission, if you ever played through the game on hard you know what im on about, sure the bruticus missions were memorable as fuck but lets admit it. Grimlock was so much damn cooler, his entire subplot kept me hooked throught the entire game. And once i got to the mission with grimlock after one of the hardest missions for me (starscreams batreyal) it felt do good to effortlessly smash those metal pieces to flat tin cans, no matter how repetitive it got i still loved it. The final bossfight with the cables was very fucking satisfying to finish and kill the bastard which made a mokery of you. And finnaly the chapters ending, oh the fucking ending was amazing. Seeing shockwave beg for mercy as his hand gets ripped off, not to mention the fact grimlock destroyed the tower thus causing the portal to be unstable adding another layer of tension and hopelessness in the last mission (which is a materpiece on its own)

@@novustalks7525 sorry i can't hear your complaints as I'm destroying everything in my path with flamethrowers, executions and stomping how good a giant robot dinosaur I'm. Literally the grimlock chapter is the one I repeat the most in the game.
