Transformers Fall of Cybertron is a third-person shooter that should've gotten a proper sequel but was sabotaged by Activision.
I'm making some Transformers Video game Reviews in anticipation of Rise of the Beasts.

2:05 Rocky areas appear in War for Cybertron aswell. Off the top of my head I can think of Chapter 2, Chapter 8, and Chapter 10. Much of War for Cybertron takes place in areas that are less destroyed than fall, so it makes sense that less bare ground would be visible. It's also possible there are slightly different "biomes" or "regions", as seen in the Sea of Rust. Great review by the way, the best and most comprehensive I've seen for any Transformers game.

Played this on PC almost 10 years ago, back to back with the predecessor. I recall enjoying it greatly, and appreciated the larger scale.

Thank god I thought this game was a sequel to war for cybertron now I know this is a sequel for fall of cybertron

Don't you think you were overexaggerating? A lot of Activision's games aren't that bad.

I said what I said because they killed this series for an ill-concieved tie-in game, they allowed their workplace culture to get horrible, and they never followed up on Transformers Devastation (among other terrible things).

Even though there are inconsistencies in the plots of them (likely due to different writers), my head canon is that the two Cybertron games lead into the Transformers Prime TV show. They're all part of the aligned continuity, which to be fair wasn't actually all that aligned at all, but Prime has a lot of nods to these games that makes them feel connected in a lot of ways.

I don't think these games and TFP are connected. The Autobots in TFP were only 5 strong, but in FOC, they had plenty of soldiers to repel the Decepticons in the final act of the game. Not only that, but Knockout was nowhere to be found in either WFC or FOC. That's why I believe the Cybertron games and TFP aren't connected.
