Soundwave has had vehicle modes a few times in the past. The real question is how they will handle transformers with animal alt modes and flying transformers.
Considering the style seems to be based on those cheap transformers Authentics toys, it’s safe to assume Soundwave will be in that van mode that he has
@@LordVanOskuro Nightbird is in a bunch of games these days (including a form of Zeta in Angry Birds Transformers even though she's an Autobird. She turns into Slipstream too), it's not that surprising. Not to mention there was a Nightbird in Cyberverse.and another in Rise of the Beasts too.
A transformers racing game with gun combat also mixed in is definitely a surprise. The Transformers Cybertron games need a comeback on Nintendo Switch or the Switch successor.
New Transformers fans need to experience the War and Fall for Cybertron games. They are the absolute peak and goats of transformers video games. Edit: Just found out Xbox relisted them on the Microsoft store. If they are on Game Pass aswell, its a very good day for us all. Even if I have to pay for them im getting these gems
You are 100% correct, the best kind of correct. Especially "Fall of Cybertron" with more defined gameplay was amazing. Shame that these games are not available anymore due to licencing matters.
Yup. Those should be on current consoles. Remastered at least onto one physical collection . But as usual, licensing issues. But thankfully I still have my copies if that never happens...so many great games from past fens forgotten

I wish you could customize my own transformer can play as autobots or decepticons in racing in alt mode and fight in bot mode. Just like fall of cybertron.
There's coming the new Transformers One movie and now the new Transformers Galactic Trials game and even as a physical edition what's so awesome! I will play as an Autobot with my favourite Transformers Autobot the yellow hero: Bumblebee! 💛

Man, I'm so excited for both of them, so it's a double win for me :D Might get 2 Prime Changer figures and one SS figure from the TF ONE line and this game if it's available in any store where I'm from somewhere too lol.
Racing mechanics / themes have been implemented in various Transformers media before. The racing missions (though extremely few - 2 in Autobots & 1 in Decepticons) in Revenge of the Fallen DS. Velocitron - The Speed Planet Recent Transformer Racing Events such as the Iacon 5000 in the upcoming movie - Transformers One Etc. But to actually have a Transformers racing videogame, that sure is a nice change. Let's hope more Autobots, Decepticons, & other Transformers join in the game along with the 10 we already have. It would also be nice to also have a Transformers Spin-Off racing game focusing on the traditions of Velocitron.

Well, it looks more interesting than that Disney Speedway or whatever. So does the gameplay flip flop between the two two modes at fixed track intervals or can players choose to change it from racer to shooter whenever they want?
The Transformers are back and this time, they race and fight. I remember watching the Transformers animated shows such as the 80s show and the anime adaptations. The Live action movies went downhill since Age of Extinction, which was boring as heck and its characters were hateable at best. At least in animation, they're fine. Transformers was created by Takara Tomy, creators of Licca Chan, Barbie's japanese counterpart but Hasbro distributes the franchise here in America.
If Drift or Deadlock isnt in the game ill have to judge it normally. Transformers reactivate or third cybertron game, or even transformers devastation sequel would be better honestly.

As much as I want a port of Transformers Devastation (with added local splitscreen) or the War of Cybertron games on the Switch; this doesn't seem too bad. I am a simple guy. Cars that transform into robots with local multiplater makes me happy.
Same, plus I was also a sucker for racing games like Mario Kart too, and yet seeing a Transformers racing game was just what I always wanted :) coolest and funniest thing I'mma do when I get this game is that when I play it? I'mma start listening to some Mario Kart music on my phone while playing it 😆👍
