This junkasaurus is amazing and it almost giving me cloverfield vibes. It’s like mad max and transformers combine into one and this is exactly what it would look like if the transformers went into the mad max universe.

This is why I'm okay with Trash Master being a little different than the rest of them transformation-wise. It would be nice if his gimmick worked exactly like the others, but then that would limit how this swappable limb play feature could be used. I'm glad they decided to do something unique with him. Besides, I'm a sucker for the bots that literally stand head and shoulders above their teammates 😅

Same, having the Axlegrease retool turned into another properly-colored Junkion would be fantastic. I make it a point to buy two of every Junkion weaponizer they've put out thus far, so they'd have two guaranteed purchases from me when they do.
They agreed when first reveal she was awesome, tho I definitely do prefer the more traditional color schemes of Junkions so hopefully a Nancy retool in the future?🤔💯

Looks like a fun display piece, wonder if there's a missing junkion that will come in Legacy phase 3. On a side note this could be a interesting concept for a SS Infernicus.
This is very interesting combiner and reminds me of Kickosaurus Rex from Kick Buttowski cartoon. If anyone watched this episode and this cartoon, absolute respect to you guys.

Junkasaurus looks really fun! Another thing to consider is with any retool/repaint of these molds, you can have different configurations for this combiner. For instance, you could swap Axelgrease or Scraphook for Tow-Line. I also wonder if theres a way to take a third Crashbar and make a tail for this guy?
Hasbro need to make another character with the same body as Crashbar to make a more awesome Junkasaurus. Ps: Hasbro should learn from your videos. Edit: I even have a name for it. “Scrapwheeler”. What do you think?
Junkion did what Fossilizer and Weaponizer failed to achieve, a fun parts-former, and yet it still feels and has an appearance like a true transformer, not just a jumble mess that resembles something.
I feel like they will release a 5th junkion that will complete this combined mode so that you don't need to buy 2 of trashbar. Since hasbro hasn't released a official combined mode instructions, then the 5th junkion's instructions would include combiner instructions for an official combined mode. Maybe even 2 versions of said combined mode, one in a Junkasaurus form, and another that uses all parts. But, they're junkions, so any combination people come up with is equally as correct of a combine mode as any other.

Great review PrimeVsPrime!!! Junkasaurus looks to be a total mess, and I enjoy it!! lol :D I hope Crashbar gets repainted into another Junkion. I may use Tow-Line instead of Axlegrease to make Junkasaurus an all Autobot Junkion combiner. Keep on being amazing.
I really with the deluxes had variants in similar color schemes and molds. This this will look great using 2 crashbar and 2 scraphooks due to the matching color tones.
Honestly, I think the name "Scrap Titan" or "Scrapyard" would have fit better as it's a little cooler IMO -I would say "Junkyard" or "Scrapheap" but those are taken-
I would say to use two scraphook’s because they are all auto bots. Axlegrease is a decepticon, so I doesn’t really make sense for her to be in the combiner
I’m sure I could probably engineer something to where wreck gar gets added to this and the junkasaurus head becomes a hat for him. Kinda similar to the thundersaurus megazord from Power Rangers Dino thunder.
The only Junkions I've got are Axelgrease and Tow-Line, I think the deciding factor on whether I pick this up is gonna be if they remould Crashbar into anyone so I don't have to pick up two of the same figure.
I wish we would’ve gotten wreck-gar as a figure to make up the other arm, instead of having to have 2 crash bars. Either way it’s nice to see such a well made combiner
I'll be using Trashmaster for the body. . Sraphook and Towline for the legs. Crashbar for an arm, and hopefully soon there will be a Crashbar repaint as the other arm
The torso needs a second half including a tail and better hips. I hope they do Axelgrease in Junkion colors and a new crashbar retool so that they all match.
There's plenty of customisation potential with these guys, even if Hasbro doesn't take advantage of it. A Crashbar retool is almost certainly happening though.
I think I saw something that suggested a Walmart exclusive Star Seekers wave that seemed to include several Junkion retools/repaints. This could be inaccurate or wrong, but might be worth keeping an eye on.

Crashbar is great but I'd rather wait for the inevitable retool (the upcoming Road Pig?) than buy a duplicate. Repainting Axlegrease and the second bike into Autobots would help the colour scheme...
It seem you can use all cars if Lockdown is the expected mould we should have 2 pick ups and 2 cars. but only a couple of bikes (the other one likely being Road Hog) I hope they do that yellow Autobot car though so we can have an all Autobot junkion team. No doubt you can make a combiner with 4 identical limbs too. or 2&2 like Energon Combiner Teams. I hope they make another Torso / body too, Some sort of military truck perhaps as a Decepticon .
Absolutely loved this video! Funny thing, when I 1st pre-ordered Crashbar I accidentally ordered 2. Am i glad i made that happy accident. I won’t ever own Axelgrease, instead I ordered 2 Scraphooks. Thx again for the tutorial. Cheers 🍻
Thanks for finally uploading this video! I was unsure on buying all of the new junkions as I had bought past weaponizer/ partformers. I only bought Crashbar so far and while he's not bad but as a weaponizer, the partforming only works for the vehicle. Seeing that he was a combiner of sort did tempt me into getting the other especially when Scraphook is on sale at Smythtoys! After watching this video, I whole heartly not going to but them all! I still liked Axelgrease so I may buy her while maybe Trashmaster when he is on sales. It probably look better if he had more parts on him as he does look good in front view only! Like where its back? It could of used a tail! Even then from speculation and fan theory, with that 2024 leak, I may ended up getting the combiner anyway if Lockdown is retool of Axelgrease or if Road Pig is retool off Crashbar!
I share your sentiments and also bought a Crashbar on sale just to mess around with the partsforming feature. I too was waiting for a review of the combined form before committing to more figures. Having now seen this, I would probably only buy the rest of the Junkions once they're on sale. And moreso if a few more Junkions were available in the same/similar colour way so as to have a cohesive combiner without the need for duplicate figures.
Looks like a fun combining option. Not to crazy about getting two Crashbars as subjectively I just find him the least interesting out of the 4 already released. It'll be interesting to know what Hasbro will change if an official configuration is ever revealed or if it would work with better stability. Overall I like the idea, and had a blast with the Fossilizers as given some creativity, and ingenuity you can build up a pretty stable and terrifying leader class figure. Just got Axel Grease ordered and can not wait for Trashmaster to be released.
Yes stability seems to be the big issue, the hip connections are extremely loose and mine won't stand up on two legs in this combination, there must be a better way...
Man, I still want a helicopter Junkion, who we could make as a set of wings for Junkasaurus. In the spirit of yniqueness, I hope we het a redeco of Crashbarcso I dont need to buy two of the same exact figure.
You don’t need 2 scraphook, just need 1 of him & then either Axelgrease or towline. However for the arms there isn’t a 5th legacy Junkion so at the moment you would need 2 Crashbar
Having a Combiner be some sort of Dinosaur in robot mode is an interesting concept really hoping Hasbro will make more Combiners in the future, and knowing they dived into rid 2015 i would have loved to see rid 2015 Menasor (i know we already got a Menasor but still) or maybe the one with Cyclonus (i don't remember the others members ;-;)
Really looking forward to a Shattered Glass repaint of the Deluxe Junkions, well at least Crashbar, except for what would be SG Wreck-gar, who I am expecting to be a retool of Trashmaster, potentially allowing for a full Shattered Glass Junkion Combiner. Why would I be expecting a Shattered Glass repainting of these molds instead of the Studio Series 86 molds? Cost to quantity. We would be able to get more Shattered Glass Junkions if they aren't all SS 86 Voyager mold users.
Soon, you won’t even need a second Crashbar. In some leaked images, Junkasaurus was shown with his right arm being made of a yet unreleased Junkion who’s gonna be a repaint of Crashbar, who has a tan, desert-like color scheme.
Seeing him on all fours reminds me of ROTF Devastator. 😜 Speaking of, in the canon of the Bayverse it is said that a form Devastator can be formed by any number of Constructicons (though in my personal canon at least 6 are needed - I choose six because that is the number of the original G1 team and the number of vehicles found on the original ROTF Supreme class toy, the one with lights and sounds, that can split into basic vehicles 😁). It is cool to see that Hasbro is giving us something like this with these modular Junkions (though that concept already exists since Siege), even if this Combiner is really just an afterthought. I hope one day we get Deluxe toys of construction vehicles that work in a similar matter, so we can have a Legacy/Generations version of ROTF Devastator - and if you are not into that personally (I can totally understand you why) you might also be able to recreate something like RID/CR Landfill/Build King from the Build Team. And every Autobot version of that can be repainted into a Constructicon version. 😜
I feel like using more Costructicons on Devy would put more strain on his being, making it harder to move. That's why he has to crawl on all fours to support his weight.
Use some superglue to tighten up the 5 millimeter ports on Trashmaster's wheels to make the connection more stable. You can also do this to Crashbar's hips to make the arms more poseable without it collapsing all the time. Or you can put it into a Movie Devastator gorilla pose because I am pretty certain that was the aesthetic they were going for. But most importantly, you can construct one arm out of the leftover accessories (Scraphook's triple exhausts, spiked shield, and tow arm, Axlegrease's guns/car mode boosters, both hooks, and the front end of Trashmaster). The arms will obviously be mismatched but the legs are already and it'll save you $25 until they come out with a recolor/retool of Crashbar.
Looks great, phenomenal video, I'm curious to see what hasbro is going to show us. I can't imagine they initially want us to buy two crashbar to make up a combiner
