I got this exact version as SOON as I saw him in the store. MAN, I wanted one back in the 80's. I freakin LOVE this guy; he's so damn insane, just crazy as an outhouse rat, just frikkin NUTS in the cartoon. I'm 42 and I still can't get enough of Season 3

Finally picked up this figure after waiting for it to go on sale. Amazing figure and it's the closest to G1 we may ever get. The box art great as always.. Great review my friend.
I am envious of your Galvatron's they look superb. I'm glad your friend let you in on that bargain, you couldn't go wrong with that price for this figure. :) I was in hysterics though when you made the cannon mode wear the Matrix, I just thought it looked silly and had Leonard Nimoy in my head saying "You try to take my bling, I'll blast you"! :D It was interesting to see Starscream ride on the back of the guy who blew him up though, LOL. :D I had NO idea those extra back parts were accessories that became another gun and a spaceship, that's interesting. Just as interesting as where you found out you can put those guns near the bottom of the cannon mode. :) Again, the law isn't that they can't make toy guns (if that's the case then Galvatron wouldn't have been remade either), they can't have the toy guns look realistic. They need to have some very obvious indication to show that they are toys and not real guns. Like bright colours and such.
@@ToysareRuss According to The Ark by IDW, Galvatron's ship is called The Revenge and yes it does look like a very fitting tribute to it. I agree there. :)
I was just looking up about this the other day, Galvatron's been becoming one of my favourite designs. You have one of the only reviews on this I've seen, definitely prefer the no battle damage. My hope one day is to see an update/homage to the 2006 Collector's Edition Galvatron II, with the gold filigree decals, based on his appearance in the Transformers 2010 story pages. Something about a regal looking toy-accurate Galvatron really appeals to me.
This and Transmetal II Megatron are the only Legacy figures that I want the most now. This Galvatron is fantastic and it is as if the cartoon came to life. Tried looking for Laser Optimus Prime when you said he was reduced at TK Maxx and couldn’t find him at mine but I do find the voyager class figures are too expensive. Love how those weapons form his ship!
I saw this on TK Max too for £19.99 and I was so tempted but I already have 3 other versions and next door in Smyths they had Tarn and Leo Prime so my money went there instead. It’s a great figure though.
@@ToysareRuss just a small cheap chain you get on JD sport's trainers adjustable looks much better than the plastic one nothing fancy or expensive I just think it looks better 👍
Man, only $24.59 USD price you got him for! Over here in the USA, they milk us cows so to speak for the full price still! There are just no mom & pop toy stores that discount this stuff to get rid of inventory. It's tragic in a way.
