Presumably, the costume is reasonably lightweight and easy to move in. I think the camera perspective also makes his arms appear closer to people's faces than they really are.

That’s where the actors face is at and how he’s able to see everything :) if you look closer you can see a human head between the chest and head. You can also see his legs / when he walks between the hips and torso you’ll see he’s got a painted suit to hide / disguise himself to make it as realistic as possible. The only thing I’m not sure is the mechanics of the arms inside that huge chest cavity. There must be some type of AI for him to be that accurate and quick, whatever it is it’s responding in real time along with the head. These things are probably insanely expensive and these actors operating them I’m sure are getting compensated very well for this amazing attraction 🙃🤘
