@@TtsandTransformersbro That's because he loved them so much that he didn't want them to feel guilt about him having no other choice but to give up his life, that's why he didn't want them to be reminded about the friend they lost, so he took himself out of their memories to spare them the pain.

@@bored_potato I think he means don't forget him from their sparks because even though he is no longer in their memories he will still live in their sparks and hearts or for them to not forget how he helped them. After all even when they see his office and Arks they never changed it but left it as it was showing that deep in their sparks and hearts they still remember him.

alrighty hope your comfortable, because this is going to take a while: so basically what happened was the crew of the lost got stranded on Necroworld and while trying to figure out a way to escape accidentally transported themselves (and Necroworld) to another universe where Megatron was killed meaning he never started the Decepticons and never took down the functionists, eventually they get back to their own universe but accidentally leave Megatron behind, they then proceed to escape Necroworld and chase after Getaway who stole their ship (the Lost Light), but their ship begins to shrink due to the FMD that was making it big wearing off, while panicking, Ten (who only said the word "Ten" up until this point) begins to speak, he shows them how to access the Warren, which is a shortcut across time and space, but their ship collapses while they are in The Warren almost killing them, luckily they were within range of Mederi 10, a planet run by comatose Telepaths who are hooked up to a computer that can distort what the world looks like to satisfy those who come there until they have nothing left to do but die, then they find a circle of five Cybertrons, each a different color for some reason, then the black block consorta and a bunch of world sweepers arrive and kidnap the the crew of the lost light, then a wormhole opens up and Functionist Cybertron comes through, but transformed into the form of Primus (like from Transformers: Cybertron) with the intention of sterilizing this new universe that they have come into, the Grand architect (the guy with the wordsweepers who kidnapped them) reveals that he is actually a member of the Guiding hand, he point out the four other members of the hand, including Rung who turns out to be Primus (up until now he was just a psychiatrist), they figure out that in order to stop Functionist Cybertron they need 12 Matrix's to open on each of the hotspots, Rung figures out that his alt mode isn't a decoration, but a Matrix making device, he goes to his office to make the needed Matrix's and that's where this animation starts from. I know it was a little run-onny and filled with missing details, but I hope this helps explain what lead up to this.
