Basically being an obsessed transformers fan at this point I can say with all my soul I'm looking forward to this. For literal years now transformers comics, movies, and shows have been the war time stories. So I'm loving this kind hearted goofy take on the young versions of these characters. It's a kids movie and honestly transformers needs that right now.

We gotta talk about that premiere. I don't think there's going to be any way of topping a trailer premiere at 250,000 feet above the Earth. So surreal and freaky.

I'm getting Mutant Mayhem vibes with the trailer and reception some positive reactions but mainly mixed. Hopefully like Mutant Mayhem the theater reception is more so positive than mixed or negative

For a while now, animated Transformers projects have been either aimed squarely at children, or aimed at older collectors but so dour, like they are so self conscious about being seen as children's entertainment that they overcompensate on the seriousness and forget to be fun. I'm up for an animated movie that's aiming for a more general audience. This looks fun.

The casual fans seem to be embracing this more than the hardcore. However, I am a G1 fan and cant wait for this movie!

I'm not even a Transformers fan, but this movie looks really fun! The animation is super unique like you mentioned, and regardless of the final product I respect that they chose to try something new with the story and make it a prequel. The way I see it is that a new generation of kids will be introduced to Transformers the way adult fans were when they were younger and imo that's really cool, so I hope people don't dwell on the fact that it's a comedy too much. At the end of the day it's a franchise about robots that transform into cars lol, so I don't mind there being a more lighthearted tone

Transformers, a franchise intended for children. Doesn't mean we grownups can't enjoy it as well, but the kids have to come first. So I'd say it's pretty great that we finally have a movie that gets that 😊

As someone who never was into transformers as a kid and is kinda interested as a adult I’ll be seeing this

I'm more shocked that we might get what looks like Black Arachnia from Beast Wars in this movie, hence the spider robot in the trailer.

I’m excited for this one, also because I heard there’s gonna be more movies after this, I hope that the voice cast evolves to sound more like the characters we all know and love. Especially Bee, yeah he’s the comic relief funny guy of the team, but when shit goes down he throws hands

I'm interested in seeing Cybertronian society before the Great War, that Transformers have lost the ability to transform, to be rediscoveredis so fascinating. That the trailer also shows what seem to be the arrival of the Quintessons is nice because they are a cool antagonistic force not used often. I hope we get a good idea of the timeline in this movie.

I’m a huge Transformers fan and very excited for this for the same reasons. I am a little hesitant though as it does seem a bit too silly. I highly recommend the IDW comics for anyone that really wants to deep dive into the lore, and I wish this followed that story a bit more closely. There’s more of a class struggle dynamic that led to the war.

Honestly the vibe this trailer gave me was the same vibe that Transformers Animated gives off. It's familiar but you can tell there's something new to it. I do hope if this continues the tone shifts and the humor shifts with it. Like first movie has lighthearted humor and if/when they do the war the humor becomes more dry or dark in its delivery.

Andre emphasing how this movie actually focuses on the Transformers as CHARACTERS is just spot on😄. Like, let's properly know who each of these characters are so we can connect with them.

The character coloration do look like the 90s 3D animation. All chromatic but more smoother... Nostalgic. Can't wait to see it over and over

I believe the reason why people believe this trailer flopped is because of how messy it is, I felt like one scene would be serious and the next scene is a goofy punchline from bumblebee.

Really hope it is one of those times when they're not showing all their cards. But I hope it doesn't take itself too seriously. A nice balance of both. Also, if they get Hound aka my fav autobot in the film, it'll be up the movie for me!

The way Andre explained the type of tone that Transformers One is going for is literally perfect 👌🏻👌🏻. And genuinely, I do not mind it at all, just because its going in a lighthearted direction like those shows, doesn't mean is going to be dumbed down. It's a tone that I find nicely akin to the original Teen Titans '03 and Ninjago, and to me, I'm in 🔥🔥. For me, the humor is coming across naturally imho, at least it isn't forced. And there are serious moments that the movie's showcasing, like the incredible phrase of "More than meets the eye" that sounded so good 💯. Honestly, I've got no issues with it, I'm very excited for TF One 🔥🔥

Like I've said elsewhere, trailers always lean in on the jokes. Emotional, dramatic scenes usually need to take their time, or need a lot of context to make sense. They don't lend themselves to being cut out and pasted together for a trailer like a joke does.

I can’t believe I’m about to watch the classic OG show’s first 4 episodes on the big screen next month and an all new brand new animated movie on the big screen in the same year!! Also this year I’ve watched a new Ghostbusters, a new Godzilla x Kong and about to watch Deadpool and Wolverine and Beetlejuice 2 (still don’t believe it’s real) this year too!!! What year is this? I’m loving it!!! Movies are back!!

I still remember when this movie was originally announced back in 2014, after the box office success of Age Of Extinction. They went back and forth with production, Boulder Media was attached at one point, and we didn’t get any details about it until like, a year after Bumblebee, and everyone being on-board with it being a reboot, Josh Cooley directing, Chris Hemsworth getting lessons from Peter Cullen on getting the Orion/Optimus voice right, etc. Now, ten years after that announcement, we finally get the animated Transformers film set on Cybertron. I hope the wait will be worth it.

This Looks like a Fun Prequel Movie, I’m surprised Chris and Scarlet are voicing the Characters Together as the last time they were in Avengers Although I’m wondering how the Story will see to the Creation of the Autobots and Decepticons, anyway I can’t wait to see it.

I was also not expecting such a light tone, but I didn't dislike it. It was a nice surprise and the trailer got me more excited than I expected. Definitely gonna check this one out in theaters. And yeah, they are hoping for this to be the start of a trilogy, so there could be a gradual shift going down the line.

I definitely see that Reboot quality you were talking about, but something about the lighting animation is giving the vibes of that recent Scooby Doo movie.

This movie being set in a point in the past when Optimus Prime and Megatron were friends gives it Mr. Krabs and Plankton vibes for me.

An origin story is very welcome. But i hope that a sequel will get more down to business. Orion Pax and D-16 start off as friends, but we know that cant last. Eventually their friendship will fall apart, which will lead to the war.

I only wish that transformers prime Predacons rising had been a theatrical movie, but I am completely fine with it being a TV movie.

I had not heard anything about this until I saw that trailer. At first I thought Orian and D-16 were Rack and Ruin before they were stuck together. But I think it's best to think of this as its own continuity, don't try and figure out if it connects to G1, or Animated, or Cyberverse. Just let it be its own story and enjoy. And when coming at it like that I am really excited to see what they do with the story and where they take it. I mean we know the Great War is a foregone conclusion, a multiversal constant for Cybertron. But still to see how they get there and what happens along the way should make for a fun ride.

Always wanted to see a transformers film set on cybertron, looks great so far.

Honestly the humor doesn’t bother me too much, the tone reminds me of TMNT mutant mayhem and that movie was fire. If it’s a heartfelt fun film with a comedic tone like TMNT then it will work

I'm really curious of how they're going to portray Megatron's betrayal. Obviously, every Transformers fan knows it's going to happen. But I still want the betrayal to feel like a punch in the gut.

Wait a second. at the 1:22 mark, you said something that had me confused - Isn't the CGI at the beginning of Bumblebee the same thing as 3D Animation?

I like that Bumblebee gets his G1 Toy "Battle Mask" and has his War For/Fall Of Cybertron energon blades. Elita-1 sounds good, and I would have preferred a sleeker car alt mode, rather than a Tron-style bike. Megatron's "H-Tank" mode was expected, but his voice is pretty awful and way out of character then I'm used too. Kind of like how Beast Wars Megatron was in comparison to G1, you know? Were there rumors Idris Elba was supposed to be Megs? He should have been cast. Jason Momoa would have worked too. Orion Pax/Optimus Prime looks and sounds pretty good. Nice alt mode as we've seen the toy from the Amazon preorders, so I like the blend of Siege/FOC/Cyberverse and Animated to his truck and robot modes. I agree with you about what is called "stunt casting" with Celebrities used instead of professional voice actors. No offense to the person playing him, who did very good, but it is so frustrating that Dan Gilvezan could not have been cast as Bumblebee, just one more time on the big screen, you know? The animation looks absolutely stunning!!! It certainly is not in the tone of the seriousness and adult animation that the War For Cybertron Siege/Earthrise/Kingdom Trilogy on Netflix was, but this Movie looks better than I expected, so it may be a fun romp! Keep up the good work, play cousin! 👊😎🍻

Transformers: One is gonna be the Optimus Prime, Bumblebee & Megatron origin story that I want as it looks fun & action packed & Cybertron looks great!

I'm getting Netflix Transformers vibe here, and not only that, I'm also getting Guardians of the Cybertrons (Galaxy) here as well. This is a day one watch indeed👌

Best part of G1 was that it had stakes. It was funny but it was also serious. Way more serious than kids shows usually are. Batman the animated series was kind of like that. But it wasn't owned by a toy company who is having low toy sales. This is just a way to get more toy revenue by Christmas. Jokes on them, children are not going to care enough to want toys and the toys are going to be too expensive to own enough of them for them to get invested.
