The realism you achieved here reminds me of what they did with the original robocop costume. Makes me want to see a transformers movie made with practical effect costumes acted by people interwoven with cgi effects for transformation sequences and to smooth out the rough spots. Would be a masterpiece I think.

the best thing about this video isn't the cosplay but the 2 kids. they're just having fun running around doing goofy things infront of the camera, haha. awesome kids!

While Its absollutelly top quality vfx gives them more options to make the character move in action so its understandable why they use special effects but this could be brilliant to save budget And time for live action series
