@@great159 There are 4 possible reasons for his new body appearing in RoTDS: 1. Devs forgot about his old body 2. Dark Spark predicted his future and gave him his upcoming body 3. There were problems with his remodeled WFC body (You can see that the WFC model in the main menu has more details than in WFC/FOC) 4. There's a possibility that it was made to connect to the Prime show. High Moon did not intend to have WFC be a part of Aligned, which explains the Dark Energon continuity error and Megatron's more G1 style design. Also, According to TF Prime, Megs already had his spiky body during and before the events of WFC. FOC was forced to replace the OG body with the Prime design for the sake of Aligned Continuity, so they came up with the thing where OG Megs gets smashed by Metroplex to explain his Prime design. However, in the cutscene where Megs is smashed and Starscream calls himself the new leader, Megatron already uses his spiky body. Also, in chapter 8 of FOC Rumble says that they gathered as many original parts as they could, but later on Soundwave mentions that he improved the design.
@@great159 no why it doesn’t make sense continuity wise is that Megatrons first chronological onscreen line is “Optimus Prime, that is what they call you isn’t it?” Implying that they never met before this moment which is consistent with WfC where they never met either and this breaks that chronology because here is their first meeting
Okay hear me out, what if they put megatron in his old body as this was just a prototype for the dark spark. But then when megatron died they put him in the prototype body and gave it upgrades which would explain how they were able to fix him in a short amount of time
