Ok, SG Optimus putting the butchered and possibly still conscious remains of his enemies on display like a Damien Hirst art piece is so incredibly in character that I'm surprised no one thought about it before.

Optimus never did like killing his enemies. Hearing their screams fade into a deafening silence. Feeling their bodies go slack as their spark was extinguished. The quiet bore such a heavy weight. ... He needed to hear it, feel it, for as long as he could. That was the only thing that brought him peace anymore because the silence was so loud, and the stillness too agonizing.

Megatron:"I sense.. pain. Eternal agony when I walk into this territory... they're still conscious... by primus.. Why Orion?"

Finding this first thing after I wake up is not a fun way to start your morning lemme tell ya.

what's an SG optimus?

SG Optimus is scarier than Megatron ever was. While he grew bloodthirsty, Optronix was insane TO BEGIN WITH. He was coldly calculating, and a brutal strategist but the fires of war made him even more unhinged. Talking to dead bodies as if they were still alive.

Evil Optimus as a concept is possibly the most disturbing thing in Transformers...It's not powerlessness in a cosmic horror sense, it's powerless in that utterly personal way, where he is so physically and mentally powerful that he can and WILL do whatever he wants with you and, unlike vague and uncaring eldritch gods, He will enjoy every second of whatever he's got planned. 😬

Man this is so unnerving but so beautifully done. Not to mention the mangled corpses of those fallen inside that amber/glass. I mean- who knows if they're still alive or conscious? And if so, the image of that is truly horrifying.. not to mention being stared down by those dead, soulless eyes from Optimus. Fantastic work, I applaud thee!! ✨🤍

you know. It scares me that there might a singular entity, a sentient machine that is totally void of any and all emotion aside from a cool collected hatred towards anything living, and that it is so feared that all other advanced races stay quiet and are extremely carful when sending long range communications. This being the reason why we have not been contacted yet. Imagine one day we do get a message back saying "Quiet, it will hear you"

If this was a series, I hope it's one where it's a what if where the autobots after defeting megatron saw somthing was off with Optimus prime, after searching for energon, they come back and see that he has a virus that caused him to belive that he can still save megatron from being corrupt, so he destroyed every Decepticon and began to experiment on them.

The years of war proved too much for Optimus Prime. One day after seeing so much death and destruction...something inside of him...broke.

If sg was an alternate timeline: I’d like to think this Optimus was rejected by the Matrix and as a result threw it into the deepest chasm on Cybertron. context of my ideas of SG timeline : megatron having started as an miner who stared a revolution alongside his best friend who the council gave the matrix which rejected op as he has seen and read about history where violence was the only solution to the current problems was hostile takeover and megatron being naive as he is blissfully ignorant and uneducated and hence isn’t aware of how these issues were solved in the past believes in the optimistic perspective that all can be solved with words. The matrix chooses megatron over Optimus and so Optimus now nemesis takes off with that matrix and yets in the deepest chasm on Cybertron.

Optronix is definitely the villain the Transformers universe is missing. He is menacing, powerful, intelligent and totally mad. It's like someone combined Shockwave and Galvatron into one shell.
