I love the shot at 0:16. Makes me believe that Optimus Prime had selected the Lamborghini to be Sunstreaker's Earth mode since the latter had just arrived on Earth.

@@KungFuGrievous Being the egotist* that he is, Sunny would say "I want that one! It's fast, it's flashy, and it's beautiful! Just like me!" *According to his G1 bio, Sunstreaker is the "complete egotist", so it makes sense.

I stand by the fact that they took A LOT of design ques from RoTF Sidewipe. The back mounted guns, the front grille (looks like a concept Corvette Stingray), and the fact he's very sleek

Kind of a weird idea, but I think it would be hilarious if the next movie takes the Autobots to Italy, where Sideswipe and Sunstreaker are. They could have Italian accents and a running gag where they argue over whether the Countach or Diablo is better

Brilliant review as always. The more figures from this BB line I see, the more I wish Travis Knights visual direction could be restored and developed. Not sure we'll ever get anything like the first 5 mins of Bumblebee again, but the concept art is still smashing it.

The front is meant to look like the corvette stingray used for sideswipe from the bay movies. I’m guessing for a retool for a CYBERTRON sideswipe since they are brothers.

Ever since earthrise with his imaginative force cannon made of of those filters, ive always seen sunstreaker as a beefcake brawler who can throw you around. So those shoulder head shields look like he can juggernaut through a horde of cons and blast anything escaping his stampede, i love it

The most likely thing to make things easier is that they are going to repaint it red and they already have the Sideswipe figure, although personally I like it to be colored in G1, that is, that the alternate mode is the same but the transformation be different

That transformation is so much like his G1 transformation it's uncanny. He looks great. I haven't been impressed with the concept figures up until this point, plus I love Sunstreaker. I'll look to pick this one up.

Congrats Prime, you've convinced me to hunt this guy down even though I didn't like the cut of his jib that much when he was first leaked. Not the fan of those gappy forearms, but otherwise the figure looks good, and I'm super glad they didn't cheap out on the ankles. I especially dig the transformation, the way the door glasses fold behind the roof\chest for robot mode is nice way to keep his torso from being too wide. Would love to see them to something similar with the (hopefully) eventual '86 version of Sunny.

Yo prime that's a cool wonderful figure and guess what I got wheel jack and ko Optimus prime figure I was excited to get the one from Walmart and one from Amazon I watched your reviews of the to transforme them and your right wheel jack was a total nightmare but a little bit easy for me but now I'm getting a Mohawk core class to watch your review again and see if I can get that figure that toy is looking sick I want him now lol
