Jazz got rekt by the deception’s worst infantry units. The only time they did Jazz true justice in this game was when he single handedly defeated Starscream and Blackout, only to be killed by Brawl afterwards. I dislike how they treated Jazz in the movie, I feel like Bay killed him off for a Racist reason. At least in this game Jazz actually did something useful before he died, but weather he did something or not his fate would ultimately be the same. Watching this is like watching cliff jumper die all over again. In fact, that is what it kind of looks like here if you think about it. Bay created his own version of Cliff jumper except it is not him but instead his best friend.
Still after only 4 lines of dialog and under 2 minutes of total screentime. There's more than just doing "awesome" or "heroic" things. Actually being a developed and relevant character to the plot is what I desired for Jazz. But he was practically an extra, a red shirt, the token black man that dies first. The only time Jazz has ever been done justice in the Bayverse continuity is in the comics. The movies and this game largely treated him like trash.
Neroidius Micheal Bay killed the black character, and then made two VERY racist stereotypes. (Mudflap and Skids) Idk what happened he worked with Will Smith and Martian Lawrence for two movies but he does this shit. And in all versions of the game, the black guy dies. Jesus Christ I hate how Jazz was portrayed. He’s pretty cool in all the other continuities, but is now seen as the “black guy who dies”. Fuck Michael Bay I hate how he portrayed the Transformers in general and he should never touch any franchise with a large following. He damn near killed the franchise.
Optum is only finish Megatron off himself with the allspark used only because this game wanted him to be the protagonist not just Sam cuz he's not like them even though he is there Ally.but there are other sequels were Optimus does defeat magnetron since he ripped them apart in Egypt he killed him by ripping his head off and kicked him out the ship
Markel Scott bone crusher killed jazz easily but in the game jazz beat both black out and star scream the game doesn’t make sense but it is one of my fav games since it’s a childhood game

ratchet wasnt even put in a mission or as an npc, he was just in the game files with only idle animation, he obviously here but unfinished, i hope someone rigs and animates his model just for normal jump or walk or even transform
9:40 - 10:18 - It's just Jazz getting his ass kicked for upwards of thirty seconds. Jesus. This cutscenes in this game were so shit but I enjoyed it so much.
The worst mission from Inside Hoover Dam was Waking Giant where you had to survive an endless wave of energon drones while dodging Megatron shooting at you while waiting for the cube to shrink. That mission is flat out hard in the autobot campaign
Even here Optimus has honor. I saw ROTF yesterday and he called the decepticons in the forest lots of things, thats a thing a decepticon would do, and, man, even in the ROTF PS2 game he does not call ANY decepticon those things! In my opinion, games > movies
to make it easy for the cutscenes for the autobots campaign to view them correctly 0:00: default intro 2:05: the suburbs with their missions ( act one) 8:19: more than meets the eye with their missions ( act 2) 11:25: hover dam with their missions ( act 3) 13:49: the last stand with their missions (act 4) 16:17: the ultimate doom (final boss battle) 16:27: autobot ending r.i.p megatron & prime wins
autobot campaign was soo stupid, the way Jazz gets his ass kicked from drones but defeating Starscream and Blackout, I want to beat the script writers for good
The autobot Champaign not stupid for act 2’s friend in need mission. It went perfectly as the movie should do If it occurred & jazz does beat up starscream & blackout During act 4’s unfriendly skies mission if the movie did show that. The script writers did a good job on it. So leave them alone!
They should bring back this game, the second and third ones, War for Cybertron, and Fall of Cybertron and have them remastered with online multiplayer. This game didn't have multiplayer mode though.
They should remake the game with the remove content that modders were able to add in via mods. There was also a removed level that would've happened between the events of Inside Hoover Dam, and then The Last Stand.
The collection of all of the cutscenes is pretty similar to the movie, but shortened. Also, I love how this Starscream's voice sounds compared to the actual movie Starscream's.
The game's storyline proves that Transformers: The Last Knight makes no sense, if Bumblebee was fighting in WW2 then how the hell did he managed to get back in space only to come back years later to search for the Allspark?
These cutscenes are awful hahaha. I have fond memories of this game and all, but when you string these scenes together like this, they cut together so badly. Especially when it cuts from Bumblebee being all careful and hidden, to 2 deceptacons casually walking down the street like they ain't even trying to hide.
they are not! for me they are great to see & is crystal clear to know like bay's transformers 07 movie. as I have good memories while playing the ps2 game.
I had this game on PS2 back in the day. Couldn't get past 2 fights late-game, Megatron vs Optimus and Ironhide vs Blackout. But damn I enjoyed the hell out of it
It's too bad that the story for this wasn't the movie's storyline. It focuses on the Transformers more. And I like Bumblebee freeing himself from N.E.S.T. thank you very much!
I always dislike that they killed jazz so fast I would have liked that they let him live at least 1 movie. I also think it's a bit absurd that in those cinematics Jazz was outmatched and beaten by low decepticons and then was able to beat Starscream and Blackout at the same time.
This was the bad dream Jazz was having in G1 episode 2x21 when he couldn't transform before Ironhide delivered the kick he needed to wake up from this pitiful nightmare.
For some reason, I have better memories with the DS versions. The bots actually had character development for both campaigns. Surprisingly the Decepticon campaign became a fucking tragedy. I was legit upset when Barricade died and the ONLY con left was Megatron. (I think Brawl was still alive too but I can't recall off the top of my head) Anyway, this game has its moments but not very memorable otherwise. Except of course for that ending. GOD IT WAS SO MUCH BETTER THAN THE ACTUAL MOVIE ENDING. 😭
Sorry but Jazz is very capable, he is second in command for a reason. Not to mention that during cybetron he was a leader of the special team forces, and has been named various of nicknames that goes with his reputation of taking decepticons down. He was portrayed very poorly in the movies, and even in the game.
