My top 4 saddest autobots deaths list #1: Ratchet: he is my second favorite autobot, and I found him just too much secondary for what he deserves (I mean, we see him but we don’t see him enough like the others and he doesn’t have much lines), he really deserves to be part of the mains autobots like Prime, Bee, Ironhide, Hound, Drift and Crosshead. Also, he is the only doctor of the autobots, he really needs to be still alive. #2: Ironhide: He is so damn badass, he is maybe the only weapon specialist, but he died too soon in the movie, he really have to be still alive. #3: Cliffjumper: We just saw him one time in the franchise. The directors didn't give him his chance to be badass af and unforgettable. #4: Jazz: Why they chosen to kill him for the first movie, in G1, like Cliffjumper and Ratchet, they are so damn important and mains. And for conclusion: Lockdown: Tell me where’s Optimus Prime ! Ratchet: Never ! Lockdown is killing him and ripp off his spark: Ratchet: Hey, I needed that ! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-i1J30cnj3Mw.html #GoneButNotForgotten
RandomBlackGamer, if you can, do you think you can do a video on the number of times Optimus Prime has died and come back to life? I think it would be informative and interesting to see how often Optimus Prime dies and comes back.
@YourCanadianMemer I consider Que and Wheeljack two different characters. They have barely anything alike other than their love for inventing things. I like to think they were friends in Cybertron, maybe even mentor and student.
I saw the movie in theaters when I was 13 and I was horrified, I was even more shocked when I saw him shooting at bumblebee , I thought bee was gonna die too but thank God he didn't
I was 11 and I nearly passed out. Death's like his weren't that shocking, Jazz, I felt I was too young to understand and it was not much time for me to connect, neither the Arcee tripplets. Optimus scarred me a little, but the ending was relieving and Jet Fire's death seemed only fitting but you saw it coming with the Scorponok attack. I had already built a connection across 3 films with this guy. Same with Ratchet, and seeing glimpses of this in the trailer didn't help my pain over it.
Think the only reason why Optimus didn't react right away was probably do to not realizing who Megatron had or in the middle of a fight, he couldn't show weakness or rage at the instance
@Alexander Major "best" yeah seeing many starscreams, characters that died and somehow reappear, mouthless optimus prime, big Ironhide, and much more animation issues
@Alexander Major it isn't the "best", what is popular and lasted today are the designs of the charachters and some aspects of them and other transformers shows and midia take inspiration on it, the g1 show by itself is bad
I can’t thank you enough for giving Iron Hide #2 on this list, he is my #1 favorite character in the franchise, and I was super mad when they decided to kill him off
Jazz was Optimus Prime's best friends actually. WHen he was on Cybertron Jazz was an investigator. He went around from Kaon to Iacon and observed the culture. Anyway before OPtimus met Megatron, he told Jazz for fear that Alpha Trion would discover theses meetings. they'd meet at bars and talk about wanting to visit Kaon the city where Megatron fought as a gladiator in the pits. Thats why OPtimus was so heartbroken. He lost his best friend in the universe.
the original 5 autobots. and only 2 of the original from the first movie survived just thinking about it made me sad. mostly for optimus causes he had to not only hear but see it happen. no wonder he was pissed.
RandomBlackGamer I’m not some huge Transformers fan, but recently I’ve come back to the bay series and TF1 is prolly the most nostalgic movie of all-time😢 it kinda marks the good old days👍🏼
Bee did die in his solo movie getting blasted by Dropkick then Charlie uses the electric gun to bring back Bee but didn’t work Charlie thinks that she wants to leave Bee but our boy is back on feet
Ironhides death had me crying my eyes out. He is my favorite autobot. And imagine being made of metal and slowly rusting to death while also being confused because the "autobot" he was supposed to protect had betrayed him
The Cwoah, the Albert Einstein Autobot, death scene hurt quite a bit. Both His voice as he feared for his life and BumbleBee's expression was heart wrenching. The following sequence where the gun is now pointed at Bumblebee was also heart wrenching. My friend said the existential problem with Bee dying is that he isn't tactically important enough to resurrect like Prime and Sentinel.
I really liked Ironhide. It was also painful because I watched the G1 episode where the introduced cosmic rust, and I know firsthand how deadly it was. Add the emotional impact of a favorite characters death with the full knowledge of the HORROR Ironhide had to go through.
These are definitely some sad deaths. Ironhide might be #1 for me. It bothers me to no end that we never saw Optimus mourn him. Then I think Ratchet is second and Jazz is third.
Also is tearjerking is the fact that in the Transformers 2007 movie, when Ironhide put the remains of Jazz into a military truck the soldiers there bowed their heads in respect and mourning for him like they would a fallen human comrade.
Jazz doesn't get enough credit, when you think about it, he was the only Autobot to die apart from Optimus while putting himself in front of the humans, he knew that the humans around him wouldn't get away in time so he stayed to protect them, blatantly putting his life on the line for them.
Ironhide was the saddest for me. I really wish they would have kept at least him. I feel like after his death, thats really when people began to be even more fed up with the movies. Honestly, I wish they would do a N.E.S.T. movie focusing a lot on him and the team of battles that happened behind the scenes. Meh, just my opinion. Amazing job on the video!
RandomBlackGamer it’s like Michel bay hates all the og characters, literally every single one of them don’t get enough credits, like jazz, jetfire and wheeljack, all these fan favorite characters
It's funny you mention that, because while Darius McCrary was recording Jazz's death scene he finished off with "It's always the brotha that gets it!" Laughed my ass off because it's so true lol. But yeah, I feel you on that one because Jazz has always been one of my absolute favorite Transformers since G1 back in the day. I was thrilled to see how well they portrayed him in the 2007 film. They gave him Wind Charger's magnetic power, which was cool, but I'd love to also see him use his sonic light show ability in a later film. For some reason I thought they'd save him somehow, but then he was really dead and I just thought, what waste of potential. He had a coolest fighting style, car mode, and personality. He'd be one of the Autobots who bridges the gape between Humans and Cybertronians. I've rewatched his scenes over and over and played as him in Revenge of the Fallen game. I'm honestly hoping they'll come out with a game that has all these characters and exhibits Jazz's acrobatic fighting style the way it should be. Revenge of the Fallen on X-box 360 did a decent job but the controls were kinda clunky and it didn't capture his kicks and evasions. Seriously the coolest Autobot. R.I.P. Scatman Crothers.
Ironhide's death must've hit home the most. *Ironhide had been with optimus for a long while, though not as much as jazz. *He was arguably the most loyal to optimus out of the group. *Ironhide had helped Optimus on the battlefield likely more often than jazz overall, and definitely more often on Earth. *Ironhide's killer was optimus prime's own teacher. All this combined makes for a very distraught, and like bayprime usually is, vengeful, optimus.
During the fight in the woods I always thought it was weird that Optimus prime was beating the shit out of everyone especially Megatron who previously wrecked him in the previous movie but prime had been fighting in countless battles while Megatron was brought back and extremely out of practice soooo makes sense
The forest battle death of Optimus was insane and blew me away with that death scene, but since he was just revived the feeling is gone I still think ratchet has the saddest death, since he pleads and begs but to no avail
Everyone seems to feel bad for the autobots Frankly I feel sorry for the decepticons because the’ve good reasons for what they had been doing Take megatron for example he only caused a war on cybertron as a fight for equality while everyone else believed that he had a more sinister reason for it.
@@justasimplekindofguy974 but he changed it from that right? That’s why jet fire left , they strayed from the original path that was promised and instead went down a more brutal path right, correct me if I’m wrong I don’t know that much but just a little
Whilst I still haven't fully watched the movies I can say that the fact that Bee was sad and Qui was his friend just makes it even more justified and righteous that Soundwave had his A$$ handed to him when Bee blew his head off
I would have put Ironhide at #1 and Jazz at #2. But anyway, I was devastated by Ironhide's death. In fact, I even said that to his (and Barricade's) voice actor Jess Harnell at Comic Con a few years ago when I had him autograph my Barricade (The Last Knight) action figure. Whenever I re-watch Dark of the Moon, right at the part where Sentinel Prime is about to kill Ironhide, I skip onto the next scene because I don't care to watch Ironhide's gruesome death again. I wish that Optimus had shouted, "This is for Ironhide!" at Sentinel before shooting him dead.
Optimus his death shokked me but when i saw jazz die in Tf1 and when i look back at it i think jazz deserved better i think he deserved to be in Tf3 and if he would be in tf3 they should give him a new look or new colors even making him taller but i just think jazz deserved better. Ironhide's death shokked me to i really hate it that so many transformers new or old were killed of or had wasted potential(for example jolt) if some would've been alive until this day transformers cinamatic universe could have had a better story it would have more chance to keep going. And i suggest they also bring in more combiners until now we only saw Devastator the should've given us bruticus or menasor also autobot combiners.
Duke was supposed to die in GI Joe the movie, but, the blowback from Prime’s death took it off the table and they settled on him slipping into a coma…My childhood was quite traumatic when I think back…
Seeing Jazz death as a kid like I literally was crying and it was the first time mostly because Jazz was my favorite Transformer not to mention I've been watching G1 since before I can remember and I was so happy they included him in the movie so well but then he died and I was absolutely devastated mostly because I remember how inspired I was from him as a character
when i was young and i watch aoe in the theaters the first time i was so happy, then i saw my favourite autobot and transformer at the time ratchet... then cemetery wind and lock down happened and i cried my little eyes out. #gonebutnotforgotten
I remember when I got Jazz back in 2007.. so maybe that's why I got him before I knew he will die in the movie first.. He Earned All My Respects to this very day.
They're working on a Transformers live service. That alone scares me but the fact that they've already said you can buy bots tells me to stay the fuck away from it. What's worse is you won't be able to play as your favorites, despite the story bringing both sides together as one. I guess they don't want too many of one character running around but you're still going to get that unless your custom creation is fucking unreal in scope.
Nobody talking about old Jetfire, who sacrificed himself to empower optimus so he can save the world. Jetfire is one of my favorite characters and has one of the saddest deaths for me. “itchy retched rust in my arse” one of the best jetfire quotes
Ratchet's death hurt me the most, Because he, like ironhide, was an amazing Character that felt like they weren't going anywhere, like they'd be a part of the core group until the end, but then they die in some of the most brutal and heartbreaking ways- I'm sorry, I'm getting emotional! At least I still have my dotm ratchet toy. Which I will cherish until I die.
I almost cried when jazz died he was my fav to the point were i saved up 100 dollars to buy his mpm toy version of him i love that charecter and i wish he can come back
jetfire and weeljacks deaths made me cry especially Optimus primes and i was shocked when i saw what really happened to ledfoot ratchet and my favorite autobot ironhide
i remembering seeing dark of the moon and age of exstintion int he cinema with my dad bcs both me and him is basically die hard sci fi fans heh. and we like the transformers. at the time of dark of the moon. Ironhide was my favorite bot of all bcs well.. "weapon specialist" so when he was shoot and was litterly rusting away in seconds.. i felt the tug of my heart bcs after I saw the first transformers movie. i remember that I taped two 0.5L bottles that were empty of soda on each of my hands to act like ironhides cannons. i was mocked for it but worth it. but hes death.. same as Ratchets... just made my heart drop and my jaw just wide open really at how much of a shock that was
you forgot to mention the long awaited original design of wheeljack in the bumblebee opening scene as well as other original designs that have been made realistic in the same scene.
Q, Ironhide and ratchet were the saddest for me. Jazz would be up there but I didn't even notice that he was in the first movie the first time I watched it and when I first noticed him and his death I still was only familiar with the Michael Bay movies
When I saw cliffjumper I was so happy in the movie theater my brother said he would never be in a movie and there he is but then he died straight off the bat and he laughed
Wheel jack and the medic were my favorite ones and I watched transformers prime so they really touched my heart and I miss them as if the were my own family I know it sounds weird but I lived them.
Cliffjumper's death in prime was just brutal bombed by an exploding energon mine weakened him and was stabbed straight through the spark chamber with energon leaking every where and revived by dark energon only to be cut in half by megatron
The only that was sad is when I watched Dark moon as my first Transformer movie and I had an Ironhide toy when I was a kid too he was my second favourite character it was just sad that he died and that was when I was like 5-7
