This was an Incredible Masterpiece for Transformers War For Cybertron: Kingdom. Even though it’s not My Favorite Part of Transformers War For Cybertron Trilogy. But it was Awesome Finale for Transformers War for Cybertron Trilogy (2018 - 2021).
This chapter showed conflict, consequence presented by one's actions defines who they are, knowing one has the ability to make their own choices and an act of sacrifice. Something I haven't seen in a Transformers source of media in a long while. Kingdom felt very different than the previous two chapters, it established a feeling in me that felt like sorrow and a sense of loss. When I saw the characters grief and mourn I mourn with them. Dinobot being a great example. Dinobot's sacrifice for the matrix of leadership and for the finding of the allspark was so meaningful and honourable. He served his life with honour and fought to the very end, like a warrior. Speaking of the Allspark I love how it's life cycle is part of a symbiotic relationship with Cybertronians and to see as more than just some multi sided object. I also loved how much Optimus' character has improved and grown on me. I also like how Jake Foushee's voice is bit faster now, he's really great Optimus, honestly. I was a bit sceptical about the maximuls at first, mainly Primal, he was bit rude and untrusting with others but overtime you see him grow and become the Optimus Primal we all know and love. Now, Predicon Megatron....what the hell happened? Not only is his voice completely terrible to listen too but his character is just god awful. Has anyone seen the whole Soundwave loves Megatron trend and his constant wanting to impress him? Yeah, well imagine that but with Barney the dinosaur. Also, the whole YEEEEEES joke wasn't even funny or nice to hear at all. Immediately, when you see him he's all YEEEEEES and it's so badly timed. I'm kinda glad they didn't cast David kaye because then it would've ruined David's time playing him considering he's nothing like the version he played. I'm 100% on board with Megatron's struggle with the war and his constant visions of the war coming back to haunt him. Megatron's character is some of the best characterisation I've seen in this show and it really stands out. I also love his struggle with the choice between killing Cybertron, stopping his future becoming Galvatron, as a slave to Unicron and saving his own planet. Now, I feel like Nemesis was a bit rushed into the story and didn't really contribute to anything all that much except in aiding in the final battle which he was glorious in. He was much more of a threat than Nemesis in the last knight but still felt like he needed much more of reason and purpose in being there and being much more flushed out but it was still a great to see him nonetheless, with what limited time he had. Now there is still a lot I want to talk about but this isn't a review and I don't want to drag on, so with that being said, this chapter is a must watch and I definitely recommend it to any Transformers fan. Beast wars fans? Not sure in terms of the characteristics of the Maximuls and the Predicons, well maybe except for Rattrap, but it's still a blast nonetheless. Can't wait for what this series has in store for us in the future.
