Brandon, this brought tears to my eyes. It's impossible to understand the impact your kindness had unless you've been there. I've been in a similar situation and wouldn't/couldn't/was afraid to ask for help. I even hired a professional who wouldn't do the job once he was saw my house. I finally took a week off work and cleaned 8 hours a day for 7 days just to get the downstairs cleaned. I could barely walk by the time I was finished. A couple months later I did the same thing upstairs. I know from experience how relieved she was. You are a blessing to your community.
Aw thank you, Jennifer! I totally understand the struggle of feeling hesitant or afraid to ask for help, and it's incredibly inspiring to hear how you managed to transform your space. Keep up the good work!!
@@CleanThatUp just an advice for you, hold hour breath while spraying chemicals... don't breath them... and if you want most sprayers have a nozzle that turns to stream so it's not small particles anymore but it shoots the liquid out where you want them to be. just a question, wouldn't it be faster to use a water pressure washer in that case? or at least a hose? since it's dirty all over
People stop routine cleaning for different reasons. Watching you work with no judgement is both heartening and practical. Also, thanks for Barkeeper’s Friend tip to use outside the kitchen.
I have my own cleaning business and although the work is hard, the best part is getting to know my clients. Most of them have become good friends and have also supported me in times of need. Can't put a price on that!❤ Great job Brandon👍👍
The bathroom looks great. What a generous gift you bestowed. Her daughter should hire a handyman (doesn't require a plumber) to install a handheld shower head. Even if she's in a rental, the parts and labor are easily under $100. The spray hose would not only make showering more effective and comfortable, but it would make rinsing the shower walls easy, too. Just a suggestion from someone who has cared for aging-in-place parents. Keep up the good work.
the scrub daddy on the shower door was so silly, i loved it 😁 and of course, it's really really awesome that you did this for her! it makes all the difference in the world for people who struggle with cleaning. 😊❤
I like that you subtitle the products and tools you use! Very helpful to share that with viewers! You did a superb job on the bathroom-- looks brand new! You are a blessing!
You are amazing Brandon. Thank you for cleaning for Lucy. You did a wonderful job and the added bonus is you did it for free. I'm happy to be your subscriber. You make me proud.😊
You are so thorough, I love it. I noticed the bugs in the light right away and was sooo happy you actually ended up cleaning it. I also appreciate that you are honest about being paid through youtube, which is how you can give free cleans. I like aurikatarina but I don't like that she never mentions that she is paid fruitfully through social media when she does he free cleanings.
Brandon bless you❤ thankyou for sharing with us:) your kind deed bought so much happinness to the lady and her daughter and all of us 😊 will definately support your channel ;) i loove that you got to know her too! she has given so much to others now she gets that back ❤ what you give is what you get ❤❤
Recently discovered your channel, and it has been so motivating! Not only for the great practical helps you offer, but your desire to help others learn, and to "give back" in ways like this project for Lucy. Your enthusiasm and enjoyment of taking things from before to after is truly infectious. 😀
this video is so heartwarming ♡♡♡ thankyou for sharing with us! we all could rejoice in your good deeds. The joy and happiness in Lucy ♡♡ much blessings to you Brandon and all who contributed to this great project
I came here to try to find out the answer to that too. How could they show all that baby powder everywhere and not explain how it got there? LOL Did a baby powder explode in there?
Your one of a kind Brandon. Love your channel. Spring winds seem to have calm down in the desert and left many layers of dust and dirt, any tips on cleaning wooden blinds?
Thanks so much for the kind words! I like to start by dusting them gently with a soft cloth or feather duster or vacuuming with a brush attachment. For stubborn dirt, try spot cleaning with a mix of dish soap and warm water (or Murphy's oil). Remember to be gentle and avoid oversaturating the wood. Once you're done, let them air dry completely before lowering them back in place. Hope this helps!
@@CleanThatUp thank you so much I appreciate the feedback and I will surely get down to business. Murphys oil sounds good. Thank you bud, appreciate your channel. And thank you for helping others who are in a unfortunate scenario.
The best shower scrubber to save your back and arms is a shower scrubber with a long handle/ extendable handle. It also comes with replacement heads. I highly recommend and more replacement heads are only $10 for a pack of 10 equalling to $2 per head.
This is beautiful!! Great job!! In instances like these, I wonder if if the daughter would make the bathroom barrier free for her? The glass shower door should be removed, rails placed in the tub/shower, and shower curtain with seating so she can get in and out of the shower as she needs to
I'm sorry, but HOW did they manage to get baby powder on EVERYTHING in the bathroom, including the insides of the ceiling light? Were they using a can of baby powder for a vent filter?
My mom used baby powder for years and it's so lightweight that it floats up and sticks to literally EVERYTHING. It's just as intrusive, if not moreso, than lint/dust.
If her injuries prevented her from showering she might have been dousing herself with baby powder. My late grandmother did something called "instant Bath" which involved arid extra dry spray that left a similar effect in her bathroom.
She insisted on using baby powder, likely on the nether regions. With a BROKEN NECK it’s not hard to imagine how creative she had to get to get the powder where she wanted it to go (probably squeezing the bottle, creating air “poofs”)
New subscriber here! I love your video’s - great tips, very clear and multiple options on how to clean something. You have such a kind aura ❤ sending you love and wishing lots of succes for you xx
Super cool video. 2 questions: 1. do you rinse the cloths between using them or do you use like 20-30 cloths per clean? 2. after using disinfectant, do you clean after with water or something - like for the toilet seat - will it "burn" the skin if you sit on it, etc? Asking for personal home use, not into cleaning business. :)
You did a great thing. Good job! Just a question, though... is it not best to clean the surfaces (like the sink and counter top) and then to disinfect it? I think you've got it switched 😊
Hi everyone. Have anyone use in-cide instead of bleach for a very heavy black floors? If I use bleach on tiles, grout or floor I leave it for some time undiluted for some time and it will magicly become white and then I will just rinse it off. Does In-cide has the same effect? I have a very dirty floor at work that no steamer or machines will clean. The only think that works is bleach or floor striper which we can't use.
Was recomended this for some reason and just decided might as well watch cuz theres nothin else good on my recomended i dont even watch anything even related to cleaning but for some reason i kinda love it 😂
My housemate of 15 years used powder to help keep his body cool and dry. The powder got everywhere, especially if the container is dropped or knocked over.
Hi Brandon! This was amazing. Question: I thought that you had to clean surfaces first, then use a disinfectant afterwards that you let sit for a little while for it to disinfect. But I noticed you used a disinfectant spray first. Can you explain to me how this works? Thanks! :)
After seeing the bathrooms Clean with Barbie tackles, I’d hardly consider this bathroom filthy 😂 🤪 but great job though, it’s always nice to see people help others free of charge.
some toilet seats come off (click button off - no screws) for this purpose. maybe replace with one that does? then you can clean around the screws/pegs but not be so hindered.
This bathroom is mine. I try to clean it at least every week or week and a half, however time will go by and all of a sudden, everything I touch is coated with baby powder. Not as bad as hers though. LOL I have a tub scrubber but I like the brush he is using better.
God Bless you! God Bless Lucy! ❤ I hate to even say this, but just in case, Lucy does not already know, some baby and talcum powder’s have been linked to lung, ovarian, and mesothelioma cancer. Hoping she’ll check into this. ❤❤❤
And somehow me an able man cant get the damm soap scum from my glass shower doors! Not even the “pink” stuff worked. I will try Bar keeper friend next! Any chance you in L.A?…. 😅
Where did you buy the extendable microfiber mop? I checked your website and the product link is broken and your Amazon storefront just has gloves. I wish you had affiliate links for everything :)
Question Brandon. I have a Toilet that I've been trying to clean on the inside in the deep part I have used Multiple cleaners and scrub brushes and still can't get to the deep part to encrust to loosen up? Also any suggestion on the shower vent fan I try to get it once a year is there something you can use to keep it clean longer or better? Thanks for your help
