O.K. this is an impressive build as we are seeing small segments of this construction as I know that by the time each episode is released, you have actually done a lot more, which is confirming how big this awesome Pond is. Now that the intakebay is complete, it has me itching to see the end result. Out of appreciation to you for taking the time to produce this content, I have given this video the 30th like 👍🏼 to say thankyou very much for sharing. Have a great Week. Take care, Sir. 🤙🏼🙂🤙🏼❤️

Man I wish I had the money to hire a crew like you guys. I started a pond build last year and it's still not done lol. But I have wetlands working and fish in the pond. I wish I still had a machine to help me move more rocks. I have an 8' cascading water fall. The pond is 30'x9' 3.5' deep

Another banger! I'm really glad to hear y'all talk about preserving the calculated/necessary surface area of your intake bay (and CWF). There are companies showcasing beautiful work on various platforms who disregard this, and I question the long-term functionality of their creations. Case in point, y'all didn't even mention (yet) using full aquablox in the intake bay, as specified by Aquascape in their tech. drawings, yet the majority of intake bay installations I've seen on youtube use half blox. While it seems like it should be self-evident not to reduce the surface area of the cubes (why bother doing any calculations if you're going to disregard them), a lot of the same creators will go one step farther and cover the cubes up with boulders in the name of aesthetics! Maybe they're oversizing and have compensated for that, but you guys are the only ones I know of discussing this important detail. Personally I spent too many years of my career winging it. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't. The biggest problem, imho, is that a lot of these issues don't surface for years, or a decade +, which then leaves the homeowner on the hook. Keep up the excellent work.

This is looking awesome! I had a question: at the 6:02 mark in the video you were making a little line of rocks on top of the liner and I was wondering what the purpose of that was? Also, I noticed when you were doing the wash-down that there were no rocks or gravel on the bottom of the pond. That's a great idea to make it easier to get all the gunk out, especially on a pond this big!

Hey! I do believe they were using that line of rocks to hold the bib liner down until the foamed cured underneath it. Once the foam cures the whole thing is covered with gravel :) and yes ponds that size use a a lot of gravel backfill to help secure boulders so better to was out behind before the bottom gravel comes in. Then it’s quicker rinse for just the stuff on the bottom!

Yeah, after I watched that part again that's kinda what I figured was going on. Thanks! @@cpele08
