I watch your videos all the time. I went to get my truck smoged. I was asked if I wanted a dresser. It was left outside. Cherry wood, dove tailed drawers. Brass handles, I can't wait to start. I know it's going to be alot of work. I sure I am ready.

I would take the foam brush to the legs and touch up the paint where the sprayer didn't hit it! Otherwise I really like the way this one turned out!

First thing I thought of when I saw the dresser was powder blue with current knobs for a babies room, whitewashed drawers maybe? It still turned out cute though!!

I think it turned out beautiful. You should be very proud of all you've accomplished! I like the gold knobs. Sometimes I will just go over harsh gold tones with some burnt umber to take it down a notch and give it some patina effect. Good job I love your work.

I love your taste and color choices, and the job you do is amazing. Never mind the drive, and love that you radiate, of what you are doing. As a former furniture flipper in S. WI, I have to say OMG, what a difference between our two locations marketplace prices and the demand. I stopped doing this only because I wasn't able to sell anything since year of 2020. You can get for free any piece of furniture here. An average price for a similar pine (especially with some flaws) is 40-50. I pass on free antique dressers, just yesterday it was a free antique vanity, w/ the mirror. Only because I won't be able to sell it even around 100. In 2020, we had to move, while I had five finished pieces in my inventory, that I put for minimum to sell, and ended up giving them away for free, selling two underpriced. I am so happy that you foind your passion, and that you are able to be decently paid for it. Good luck in future, and God bless ))

I would have gone black for the hardware. I also think there should be a bigger difference between the paint color and the wash. But beautiful job!

The paint wash is not enough of a contrast, but I do love the dresser color. Black knobs would contrast much better. Just my opinion.👍🥰

Friend, thank you so much for your confidence in this content. As a former teacher, I am looking for an income stream to pay my student loans that will still allow me to stay home with our grandbaby. With that said, I was thinking if you wanted to have a more accurate expense per piece, you could use a kitchen scale to get a before and after weight to calculate per oz (or whatever unit of measure). Just a thought...🤷‍♀️

Hi Lauren. Another great piece - thanks for great content. I don’t mind the new-old handles but what about doing tone on tone with the handles? I saw this idea on Natalie Callaghans channel Designed to the Nines where she painted vintage bedside pedestals a similar colour and did a tone on tone finish with the handles.

When you have time find some black hardware and see how it looks. Take some off another piece when store is closed lol. Personally I like bigger hardware on long dressers and knobs on tall boys. Not necessarily a color change but what’s more comfortable for me to use.

The hardware turned out better than I expected on the finished piece. Maybe oil rubbed bronze next time? I think a dark metallic brown may offer better color contrast (maybe).

Nice job Lauren as always. The only thing I see is that middle leg sticks out like a sore thumb. I would paint that leg to blend in with the piece. I love the gold knobs. Nice choice. The color is beautiful.

I think it is very pretty and very neutral. Not every piece will be a fit for all. That is the beauty of the design and the variations, soooo something for each individual. I think the gold hardware looks good. Black would probably look good as well. If you end up thinking the gold is too much, you could also try to add another color over it to make it a more subtle gold.

I like the gold knobs, though I'd recommend using something with more of a pink tone, like Rub n Buff Antique Gold, rather than the yellow-toned wax that was used. I also think it would help to buff the knobs with a soft cloth after the wax has fully set in order to make them really shine. Other than that, I really like this flip!

I know you are having a hard time finding furniture. But have you thought of going to a college town near you? Sometimes students don’t want to take furniture with them so they leave them on the curb. Good luck finding furniture!

Instead of black spray paint, try bronze. The brown looks softer with neutrals. The colour turned out nice.❤🇨🇦

So I seen you used a 120 to scuff sand but when you wanted those few drawers bare wood, what grit did you use? I’m a fan of bare wood drawers and top finish on my pieces. Thanks! Also wonderful job!

I had an idea that you could put a QR code on the furniture you make that takes them to your video so they can see how it was before and the work you put into it. If they sell it on then they can tell the new owner about it. Could bring more traffic fo your channel too.

The hardward was great and the color was fine too but that middle leg? I also did like the paint wash but it looked unintentional or incomplete somehow. How about both top and bottom drawers paint washed to connect the treatment a little better to the whole paint washed?

The knobs looked great. I think the blue lamp is creating a distraction. Blue is a cool color, the dresser and knobs are warm colors.

Initially I did not like the gold but it kind of grew on me. Having said that I think black would pop more, given you don’t want to change the hardware completely. Don’t you have some old stuff you could paint?

I think the small gold knobs look fine, but what bothers me was seeing the original wood color on the inside of the back legs and center support, maybe you went back and changed that, I couldn't tell at the end.
