You should buy an old monitor, put it up on the wall and either mount a camera under Kelly's window and stream live feed of the horizon or film a full day night cycle and play it on loop in real time. This will give you a constant knowledge of time passing and a connection to the outside world. You could even make a faux frame around the monitor to look like a window.

It’s not always easy going against the grain but it sure is worth it - we have the best memories from all of our places and travels. I would love to use a sunset lamp near the corner of the bed to add color and coziness in that side of the room when the lights are out or maybe a side lamp to place beside the bed. like the hanging bulbs. a stack of wood crates as a side table to merge with the wood theme then add like a photo frame or just any things you wanna be able to reach to with ease. maybe add a projector so that it could be a cool movie spot as well when hanging out. You can mount it above the bed and direct the projector on the wall where your piano is. :))
