Something has to change in our industry if it is going to survive. Royal Electric is proud to be a part of that change with the daily choices we make grounded in an outward mindset. We’re willing to be vulnerable, showing our strengths and weaknesses, and trust each other to do the hard work on themselves as we cultivate an environment where everyone is welcome. Royal’s mission is to transform the culture of construction, and we do that through building people, building relationships, and building projects and we prioritize them in that order.
We believe the construction industry is vital to the success of our nation. Together, through organizations like @agccalifornia, we can actively create opportunities to build and strengthen our state, centering our mission around people and shifting transactional relationships to those that are genuine. Through Build California we’ve reached over 50,000 unique students since launch in 2019 and over 3,000 students have requested builders help in apprenticeship program placement. In her farewell address as AGC President, #OneRoyal President and CEO Dina Kimble said:
“Several years ago, I learned what would happen if we got intentional about the culture of our company, and I vowed to create a better experience for the young people coming up behind us. I certainly give them better advice today than I did ten years ago. Today, I tell them, be authentic. Ask for help when you need it. Always be open to learning from others and seek to get to what's right, not who's right.”
