This is the story of Kingsley Kelechi, an Abia State native. After school, Kingsley was unemployed and came across our youth employment pathways program on Facebook. Driven by his passion for footwear design, he enrolled in our program and dedicated his time to learning and gaining a skill. This resilience allowed him to become employed as an instructor and technical assistant at The Footwear Academy in Aba.
Kingsly is one of over 8,000 young people who have benefitted from our employment program. As an organization, PIND is determined to change the narrative around youth employment in the region through its technical and soft skills training approach. With our program, we are changing the lives and livelihoods of Niger Delta youth.
