A suggestion - instead of 10mm spacers on the rear (not a fan a spacers) why not swap go to a 3.5inch lip for more dish? I did that on my white SEC & it makes for a more killer look. You lucked out for sure on scoring a 6 litre M119-960 KE-Jet R129 under the radar and not sure what you paid but that coupe would go for big bucks over here. Nice work on the detailing for the correct look and make sure you keep this one as great appreciating investment for sure - enjoy

Awesome job! You answered a lot of questions for me too - particularly with the 10m rear spacers & the period correct headlamps. I’m the second owner of my ‘91 R129 AMG & it came with headlamps that had three dimples in the glass that protruded outward inhibiting the wiper(s) movements. As the wiper would jump when they hit the dimples - so I also will be replacing them with the correct (smoother) version so the wipers have a clean wipe path. Thank you for taking the time to make your instructional videos - great insight and yes, you are saving us all headaches from your own personal experiences. By the way your AMG does look amazing & the ‘stance’ is right on - you certainly have achieved the beast look! Blessings to you & thank you again🙏

Ok so i have a 2001 R129. I just bought similar wheels. Mine are 17x8 front and 17x9.5 rear. Definitely needs spacers on the front. What size should i run for the front. Also would i need them in the rear? If so what size?
