Honestly, I really enjoy you guys clearing out beds.... Im so sad not to weed my beds, due to my disability. I used to weed for hours, it was my serenity time. It's almost therapeutic to watch. You guys do a terrific job, well done
I love this video because im so overwhelmed with my overgrown garden beds and just watching you clear them out shows me that there's really nothing to it but to do it. Just get dirty and pull some weeds.
I love gardening 👩🌾, I think it helps massively with my mental health. Some days are fast paced other days are very relaxing and just sitting there listening to the birds and space to think it’s great 👍
I just spent 21/2 hours pulling weeds from 1 flower bed and I’m not finished yet!! Thought I might be missing something-other than finger strength to pull grass and weeds.
It’s so nice to watch actual gardening, as opposed to just cutting everything down/back! And in real gardens. I love watching Australian clean ups, but those are yards, not gardens, and usually full of trash too. Your clean ups are on a different order, as usually, the place was a garden, and will be one again.🇨🇦
Hi, I would say 2 and half hrs. Looks so much better. Are you so maticulous in everything you do?...lol So enjoy watching you 2 work, The banter makes it real. Stay Safe from Tassie ❤🙏👍❤🙏👍🤗. Couldnt find a wink...lol
About 3 hrs ,bine weed is a night mare I have my neighbours keep coming throug takes ages too make sure I don't leave any roots WONDERFUL AS USUAL. Thankyou for another great video
Hi Alex & Gary, I found this now Nov. 4, 2022 from 4 months back, wow the vines were very bad, that is something I get in my yard too & if not taken out it will kill your plants, even thou these are large vines & the bush still looks healthy! As when a small leaf vine like this wraps around my Irises it will kill them! But it was a Great Video & Congrats on it!! I really thought this job would of been 3 to 4 hours! I love when You 2 were making jokes! Makes a Good Partnership & Good working together! You 2 have a Good Week & a Wonderful Weekend, Love from Central Illinois USA 😉😊
How did you learn about all the plants and all the other work you do college or apprentice? You are amazing I love to watch you work Absolutely BEAUTIFUL
I have started to redo a very large flower bed that has overgrown and I have been working 4hrs a day for the last week trying to pull the grasses out and not damage the perennials which I have lots. I am in Canada so weather has a big part of what I can do and when. Right now it is very hot and humid, so I can only do so much at a time and then take a break back inside to the air conditioning. I am thinking of so what I can do for now then maybe in September when it starts to get cooler, to dig out a few of my perennials and pot them up and keep them in a shady place then I can finish cleaning out the beds and maybe let it go for a couple of weeks to see what may still be alive and giving it a go over once more. Then I thought to add some decent soil, some peat moss as the soil is sandy, and turn it all in and then replant my perennials, some needed to be moved as they were so big, I am just afraid digging them up and replanting I could lose some of them and honestly, they are so big it would be a shame to lose them. What do you think?. I will finish off with adding wood chips as mulch to help control the weeds.
Hallo guys. I love your videos. You two always have some fun while you work. I love how you clean gardens up. But I want to know when a bed is wide why don't you start at the back and move out wards. You use a little spade. I used a little shovel. My mom used a spade to. Is it easier with the shovel or is it just preference. Karima South Africa
Droëwors if that’s correct. Dried sausage? Really enjoyed it, anyway thank you 🙏 no reason why I start at the front just always have thank you for supporting the channel
Great Job!! Nice soil, was that your doing, from before? Must be the ocd in me but I love a sharp lawn edging. Helps to be slightly mad when weeding but the end result is very pleasing. I used to love hoeing the soil, very therapeutic. Must of taken hours to do this job. Keep well.
Thank you lynn. We created this bed years ago and it did have other plant but I’m not sure what happened to them. It’s got to see it take shape again and should get some more plants in again . Over time as the lawn improves we can creat better edges. I just roughly created the edge to get things going :) 1.5 hours
You guys sure do a good job, what's up with all those fence and all that ivy is it something people just do than it just gets out of control and can you truly ever kill it or does it keep coming back. Love 💘 your videos.
I know I was not expecting that to be honest. The last month we have seen a huge rise in subscribing amazing. 😎. Thank you Jeff for our coffee 😀 really appreciate it. I would love to take this channel to the top one day. Have loved every minute of this journey. 😀 hope you are well,
When you say “sprinkle” what do you mean? Is it a liquid mix and you just spray with a small bottle? The reason I ask is because don’t you have to be careful of the surrounding plants? I am very new to this and I am worried about using any form of weed prevention. I am concerned it will negatively impact the plants! Any advice will be greatly appreciated 👍🏻
Mmmmmmmmm around 4-5 h, let's say 4:30h. Great job! Now a little bit of trimming and transplantation and that will be perfect!! I know...why I have to say anything more after the "well done"????
Hey sorry for delay, its very difficult to get rid of, digging them out will only slow them down.systemic weedkiller glyphosate is something that will carry the killer down to roots but as they are always splitting off it hard to get rid of it all
