Transforming Vintage Drexel Set: Natural Danish Oil  

This was a special set. I found the dresser and two chests at a local thrift store for $300. It’s a Drexel Accolade. I decided to offer it up on my local Facebook Marketplace as a customization for $1000. I had a lady reach out to purchase them and wanted them to be stripped and refinished with natural Danish oil.
I’ve done Danish oil, but not in natural and not an entire piece. After stripping and sanding everything down I simply needed to apply the oil and build up the finish. It needed about 4-5 coats before I could see a bit of sheen on them.
Have you tried natural Danish oil on a flip? It’s not as impervious to stains, but if it’s in a low traffic area it’s a great finish option.
