Why? Why do you guys in the comments hate transgenders so much? I just wish them nothing but happiness and well wishes. They're brave enough to be themselves in a judgemental society. It's hard to live in a world where people each have their own standards, that if you don't fit them entirely, they automatically hate you. The world is just purely hateful. We all have the right to believe our own religion right? So why do you keep expecting people to not be gay just because YOUR religion says so? They might not believe the same. Why is it such a big deal? They aren't hurting you in anyway. I'd rather have someone be their true personality, instead of someone being fake just to make others happy and not hateful.
Thank you and I've asked the same question about why is it such a big deal to them. I also point out that we aren't harming them, but they can do harm to children...and adults... with their comments since rejection and abuse causes a high rate of depression, anxiety and suicide among transgenders, especially the young ones . They almost never respond to those points. The only answer is that these people have problems, are angry, etc and looking to take it out on others. Transgender people, especially women are seen as easy targets. I'm happy that I have met more people in my life like you that are understanding or tolerant and just let other people live their lives.
***** You're comment is pretty sick to me. I don't know which is worse, commenting on something that you know very little about and calling members of the LGBT community sick based on pure ignorance, or talking about killing people that you feel are sick. A healthy mind just doesn't need to "put down" anyone that is different, or as you think, sick. They say that people that are abused tend to abuse others. You've been hurt badly in your life, and I'm sorry for you, but trying to hurt others will not make you better. We trans-gendered people are not your problem and you will never have peace until you recognize your problems and deal with them. I do wish you well, and that you can find happiness so that you will not want to harm others as you are doing now. Good luck to you.
Kristina Rose very mature and admirable response. Thank you for not stooping to his level. You're an example of how we should act intelligently when faced with ignorance. Please continue being great :)
hey you just found another person who is transgender and that is me. And I always wanted to be a girl just like her because thats just who i am and i get put down alot because of this
Is it just me or does Barbara's interviewing style come off as judgmental and condemning? If that's a neutral interviewing? Boo! Where's the support and praise that she deserves? I'm so sick of all of these labels. She's a woman born in the wrong body… end of story!!!
I don't mean to praise myself, because I know I'm not perfect, but honestly, when it comes to acceptance, I really do wish there were more people in the world with the same mindset. Thank you!
***** from the moment Barbora asked her "if I was to see you undressed right now" , I was done with the interview. Jenna looks great , my only problem is that her and her mother are "white wash" rice type of people. The scandinavian blond is no bueno .
Lechiffresix six yeah I actually didn't know she was Asian until I watched this. She's beautiful but it would be nice to see her appreciate her own natural heritage. but that's not my place to say. She can do what she feels happy doing. Bit yeah I'm kind of sick of seeing European features being the standard for beauty. Gag! But she wants to be accepted. Maybe she thought that's the look she would be accepted for.
I did not know that she's Asian, that explains her beautiful eye shape. I do agree, she did not embrace her natural beauty she changed everything on her face, her original lips were so attractive (I think her top lip was minimized by the nose job).
@@applesugar2051 Great post Apple Sugar! I understand it's not that you're angry, it's you're frustrated because people are so ignorant that they can't grasp the concept of the New World Order!
stop thinking that the world revolves around you and realize that there's a LOT of pageants for cisgender women if you're interested, if people wouldn't allow them in cisgender competitions what's the problem with creating their own?
Wtf dude a.i u fcking suck her goddess isis & her boundless & eternal love will be the catalyst for the humans to awaken fully to their suppressed power potential & abilities then they will truly become free & be able 2 finally LIVE.
Why should she get the right to compete in a traditional pageant. Natural born women have rights as well, would the trans community let a natural born woman compete against them in a transgender pageant?
Oh ya, totally looks like a man. Point being who gives a fuck what they were born as, society puts a bigger stake in there appearance. No one actually REALLY gives that big of a fuck about "facts".
I'm sick of all the comments like "wow she's actually pretty!" Obviously!?!? Stop acting so surprised. What you thought she would be ugly just because she's transgender? Stop assuming based off of stereotypes. All women are beautiful. Uh bye Felicia 💁
***** you have no idea what you're talking about. That's a stereotype. And she's not "a man that wants to dress like a woman" she is a woman. There are plenty of beautiful transgender youtubers like gigi gorgeous or princess joules. there's even transgender supermodels like Carmen carerra. don't accept preconceived notions just because they're the first thing you heard.
She went to my high school. I was 17 when she was 14. Looked very strange back then. We talked about her when she walked by. In retrospect, I feel bad for doing so.
Yos ra you can always tell the bones are way too big to be that of a woman I know there are big boned women but even a big boned woman our hands are smaller in general we have wider hips and also if you look at a woman's legs there will be a slight curve on the front part of our what is that called the lower part of the leg I don't know what it's called right now but I could take us a picture of mine and show you exactly what I'm talkin about it's the really easy to spot once you know what to look for.
What is the purpose of this type of contest? Choosing the most beautiful woman in the planet to make clones of her? Forcing the winner to copulate with a god and save the planet from his rage? No! It's just about choosing the most beautiful feminine body! If people can't accept transgender people as equals in a stupid competition like that, imagine how miserable their lives will be in such a harsh society! It's 2014, but by many of the comments here, it could be 1514...
Tyrone Muhamid Very scientific and mature opinion. They could have disqualified smokers, left-handed or non-catholic contestants as well, right? Let me ask you something: is there a moment in the contest where girls are supposed to expose their genitals and have things such as the size of their labia minoras evaluated? Because if that is the case, I totally agree with you...
As a Canadian - I am really proud to know that there was so much support for this woman from a wide spectrum of sources...that you may not find in other countries.
what are the odds that this woman is a dead ringer for Ivanka Trump, her father runs beauty pageants, she is 6 feet tall, who do they think they are kidding. It's her! I did a hand comparison from a two photos, exact match. Also ears----exact match.
Oh, yes, just like someone mentioned that "you can always tell a transgender person apart because of the Adamsapple", completely ignoring the fact that if a male-to-female transgender has taken puberty-supressing hormones there is no boy puberty that might give them a distinctly visible Adamsapple, but also that going through boy-puberty doesn't necessarily make someone end up with a distinctly visible Adamsapple (I'm a prime example, you'd have to look really, really hard to spot it and I have not had surgery to make it smaller). Yes, my voice, at this point gives me away, but the transgender persons who have not had boy-puberty, it would be impossible to set them apart by only listening to their voice... Also, when a female-to-male transgender people take testosterone, their voice drops because of the vocal cords growing, and they need space for that, which is what sometimes causes the Adamsapple to show. So transgender people who went from female to male can also have one. Your theory is flawed.
I still don't get it..."I was always attracted to everything feminine" ...what does that mean? Feminine things are determined by society, what is feminine in Brazil is different that what is feminine in the Congo or China. How can one change their biological orientation to meet a mental orientation that is determined by society in the first place. Sex is the only unchangeable characteristic yet we insist on changing it. Why?
Don't be ignorant. She did not change her sex because she liked feminine things. She changed it because her gender is female. She was born that way, she did not choose to be born that way, and she's always felt like a girl her entire life. You see, sex and gender are different things. When in a human being those two do not connect, there is what is called Gender dysphoria, which means the gender does not match the sex the person has. Now sex is an outside appearance, whilst gender is how you feel inside and how you act like. If you think I'm lying, there is proved research on this metter. And seriously, sex is unchangeable? What year do you live in? There is sex change surgeries, duh.
MGabBell To be ignorant...I'd have to have less knowledge than you, which I highly doubt. These terms are terms we as a people defined and decided. You can't change your sex. You can label gender as a mental gravitational pull, but you can't push sex into that category. Sex change surgeries don't change your sex...they change what 'you' decide to label as sex. Science still determines you as male or female genetically. You make it sound like we've advanced beyond our genetic birth? I suppose you support eugenics too then?
You don't have to understand. She's not trying to make anyone else transgender. She's not hurting anyone. She just wants her rights as a woman. So please just accept and respect her.
Jade G You're wrong, she is affecting other people by movements like this to change the rules we have as a society. If you wish to redetermine the rules, make your own society...but it does affect others.
@@generalhorse493 Discrimination is not wrong, if it is done fairly. The rule was for women, who are female, to be able to compete in the pageant. That means males can not participate, which is a form of discrimination. Nothing is wrong with that. People, including you, discriminate all the time.
She is gorgeous and she seems like a genuinely sweet person. So terrible this whole controversy had to happen to her, but so glad to hear in the end that the rule was changed.
What an amazing and supportive family she had!! And a great system of healthcare that Canada has been able to provide and support her with!! I'm appalled by the comments below. Some people don't know what manners are. I hope someday they will grow up and learn what respect actually is. Jenna, you are an inspiration!!! Amazing
Well, I don't fell right in my body I feel im a 1970 Ford Mustang convertible...so that means I can compete on car shows? Thats how stupid this story sounds
Well I don’t feel right in my body I feel that I’m a 1970 Ford Mustang convertible... so that means I can compete on a car show? That’s how stupid your comment sounds if you have the brain to makeup this stupid example you have the brain to know that it’s valid and you are blocking yourself off from being accepting because of what? Ignorance
Isaac Pizarro, if you were able to be a transformer and convert yourself to look exactly like an inanimate object yes you could compete. But see, we are talking about human beings. Your stupid comment just shows everyone that your brain is able to think about as much as an inanimate object. Nicely done! lol
Let the truth be known! There are no boundaries. If you are out in the open about who you are, why can't we know about it. What makes me mad are those that pretend.
EazyPlayz I CS:GO I Road To 500! Explain how I don't make sense? Please moron and you should be ashamed of askin "what's wrong with transgenders" the hell? That's like saying "what's wrong with gays"
Faith Music Islam and all religions are fairy tales for adults it’s funny how fully grown idiots like you actually believe in old texts that have never been proven once to be true
But someone has to tell them. It's not judging it tell them to keep them out of trouble. If a train were coming and you couldn't see but I could would I be judging you to tell you ..you need to stand back. The train is coming. Your going to be responsible for souls the bible says; so you better be letting people know. Its your responsibility so that they cant be before the most high and say I didn't know. No one one told me. Before we all die we will all know the truth
Iam open minded, but the pagent Should be for woman only. But The transexuals, or tranvestites, Should be acepted as they are, And we should respect their Choice. Viva, Gloria Alred.
when I wrote the comment, I should of been more detailed, what I was trying to say was if I were to bump into a trans in the future how would I recognise them just by looking at them and talking to them since most take medicine or have operation to have a feminine voice, as well as have physical surgery to alter their build.
uh no... are you saying Micheal Jackson looked like albino black man? he actually looked more like a white woman. lol. you dont even know what i look like, i could already have other nationality traits. what im saying is those traits and things like gender and race are set in stone no matter what you outwardly alter. it just is what it is.
I would respect you as a Caucasian because that's what you wanted to be? Like you're not trying to turn other people Caucasian... You're not hurting anybody. You're just doing you and even though I don't understand I still accept and respect.
@@yany3xkkrenii144 You can't respond to hate with more hate. Grow up, we should be past that. We've been told a human is a human no matter the color, yet here you are, not being able to understand the simplest of facts. I hope you nothing but the best for you.
I do respect her as a transgender because I myself is a transgender as well...for my opinion it would be unfair for the girls to compete with her...there are pageant in thailand that is equivalent to miss universe..
I think Jenna is a big step in bringing awareness and understanding to the transgendered community. She's gorgeous and I think she'll bring a lot of hope to little boys and girls afraid to show who they really are c:
Everyone can have their opinions, but truth of the matter is - you do not know what someone is going thru unless you have walked a mile in their shoes.
No he’s right and he has a right to speak out against this shit so you stfu okay it’s not right this person should be proud of what God made him period this world is so disgusting people aren’t happy in what they are born with what gender they are etc sick world
@@bravoprojectrunwayfans doesn't matter who says what, he has y-chromosome, doesn't have female reproductive organs, neither can produce female hormones. If trans activists are immune to science doesn't mean we are.
Worldsgonecdazy. I will say that I am beginning to see the bigger picture after subscribing to every Transgender focused RU-vid channel that I could find. It's everywhere. Even though it's the most provable ( based on the science of anatomy) It's the hardest to accept. 💜 to you
I hate when people judge whether someone is male or female based solely on their genitalia. There are many aspects to a person that make them who they are, physical (being one of them) , mental and spiritual to name a few. Why do WE choose to focus only on the physical aspect of an individual and decide what they should be or who they are in this world, and more over WHO IS ANYONE TO MAKE THAT DECISION TO BEGIN WITH????? We shouldn't only look at someone's physicality to determine who or what they are and we most definitely shouldn't conform to such a discriminative way of thinking... unfortunately we've been doing this for centuries, I'm sure -____-... I truly hope that one day, EVENTUALLY we are able to finally put an end to these matters.
I could not be any more supportive of Jenna and others like Jenna. So happy for her and that the world now lets her live her life the way she chooses. :)
Some people in the comments section are such crybabies. She wanted to be born in a female's body, but didn't, so she went through the effort to actually get a female body, so she could reflect on the outside who she was on the inside. She is no longer male, forcing her into a male's restroom would be absurd. Similarly, arguing she isn't a "naturally born woman", when many of the contestants had a similar amount of surgery done to their faces, waist, etc is ridiculous.
She is incredible! :D I am so glad they have beauty competitions for transgender women! This gives everyone the opportunity to feel beautiful in their own skin!!
Crazy literally just saw a speech by Ivanka Trump earlier this morning, now I get recommended this video, albeit I watch a lot of random lgbt news clips
