Transgender Pride Flag Burned Outside Of Massachusetts Church 

It's because for one that flag is not the property of the person who burned it therefore it is considered arson and for two, it could have escalated if the fire spread to nearby buildings. It is also put under hate crime laws because well, its a hate crime, you are quite literally "HATING" a minority and are trying to send a message of hate towards them, and burning a american flag is still morally frowned upon, if YOU care for america you probably wouldn't burn your flag, and if if YOU cared for american citizens you probably wouldn't try to exclude a chunk of our population. You have rights until you abuse them to hurt people for existing. Hate a person for their ideals and personality, not there identity. Plus from experience, I know people who show such a burning hate (pun fully intended) only do so because they refuse to educate themselves on said minorities strife. Heck! you probably wont even read all the way through this just because you refuse to hear the opinions of those you hurt. I apologize for whoever taught you basic morals and I know you cannot change the way you were raised but please do your best to not hate people for who they are. No actually…not every Christian believes in the same thing. Some people believe in God but not everyone aligns with the words of the Bible as Christianity/etc is a structure and a spectrum. To put it simple. I personally believe in God (I’m still VERY young and you don’t need to judge me.) but I also believe i am a bisexual person who also uses they pronouns. God will still love us. They put up pride flags so people of LGBTQ+ will also know that we support them because God and Jesus teaches us to love everybody. (Platonically so some 40 year old man doesn’t think where all polys lol.)
