This video has been developed as part of the pilot Transit Travel Training Program, offered by the City of Kelowna in partnership with BC Transit and Central Okanagan Public Schools and funded by UBCM. The video is designed to help youth and adults 50+ gain confidence in taking public transit.
The Transit Travel Training Program shares information about accessing and using fare products, boarding and riding the bus, reading schedules, and planning trips using various tools.
The program aims to encourage public transit use and enhance personal mobility. The mobility that public transit provides creates opportunities to engage with your community for volunteering, socializing, sport and health, as well as for shopping and access to employment and education.
