Don't go bald! Let the grays grow out naturally to however much you want them too. You can go bald at another time you have plenty of time to do that.

Your hair in the back isn't gray at all. So if you cut it all off you will still have two different colors of hair. What about the option of coloring your hair gray as you transition? Just a thought..I'm not sure if that would work. But I noticed that you didn't have much gray in the back so I was thinking that two different colors of hair will still probably be an issue even if you decide to follow through with cutting it.

U shouldn't cut your thick beautiful hair....have u considered coloring it with henna? It's a more natural alternative and has alot of health benefits for the hair as well...Gray or not I still say u have beautiful hair...

6 months ago, I cut all my hair off into a pixie to transition to gray. I wish I would’ve done a bob because I miss being able to pull my hair back 😭. But I’m looking forward to growing my gray hair long again. In 2 weeks, I get my first trim since the pixie cut. It’ll probably be a short bob by then. I still have some bleached parts on the front. I’m thinking of getting them blended into my gray to have the hair more uniformed in color.

Fair warning!! The more gray hair you get, the drier it is and the harder it is to control!! It took me 2 years to grow my shoulder length hair gray without cutting it and it was hell to control - still is - but I get compliments daily. For me, a wash and go is out of the question. I do twist outs. Good luck!

Not sure if you mentioned it, but do you think your hair turned grey because of stress? Genetics? Diet? Etc? And have you heard of blackstrap molasses being able to reverse grey hair?

Embrace Gray ! Theres nothing wrong with that that’s just wisdom ! I’m going through it myself I’ve been dying my hair every since I was 18 and I’ll be 52 and the gray is coming through ! so I’m gonna leave it as it is ! Love your hair!

Hey Samantha! I love your hair and skin. You are so beautiful 😍. I think you should transition the gray out. I am not a fan of the big chop. On Jeanette’s channel sh grew out her natural color and then chop the blonde off and it doesn’t even look like she lost any length. But if you want to go shorter, a tapered look would be so nice on you.

I started graying in high school! Is that when you started too? My silver hasn't quite started growing in patches yet, just a lot of random spots. How old are you now? My grays dont grow in like my regular curl pattern. Do you experience the same?

I noticed my gray strands are a looser curl pattern I keep tucking the strands away. I was born with grays it runs in the family.

You are lucky its not on your face. Being dark and having jet black hair with white hair on my face sucks. I dont get much white hair anywhere else but my face it looks hideous and has to be toned down. I cant use permanent dye so i use a rinse.

Don't henna it will turn your gray hair as ugly burnt orange. I know. Been there done that. I'm struggling with letting mine grow in. I'm like you I'll let it get a certain length then cut off the rest. Just not be sure when I'll do it. I'm about 70% gray under the color. I've been graying since I was 16.

I know... I never had henna, but I know exactly what coloring does to the hair. After a while it fades away. I’m not about to go through that again. People don’t understand that we are tired of dyeing, whether it’s natural or not. Take your time and cut it when the time is right
