Geographically B10 is a nitemare! SEC makes the most sense in any realistic scenario. To many people are making this like it's a wwe match. FSU vs espn/sec. Now if we have no other choice than B10. We take it... but to pretend the SEC isn't the most ideal landing spot is crazy.

@jmaverick9337 not true. Simply not true. The Big 10 can simply make two divisions (which you likely have to do when you have that many teams in one conference). FSU already travels to Syracuse, Boston College, and Pitt. So, going to that general area to play Ohio State, Penn State, Maryland, Rutgers, is not a big deal. Additionally if Clemson, Miami, and either NC or UVA join along with them, those are teams we travel to as well. Traveling is not an issue...FSU is traveling to Ireland in a couple of weeks. Lastly, if FSU wants to earn the additional 35miliion these other Big 10 and SEC are receiving, traveling a little more an extra game is well worth it. What is not worth it is joining a conference that has ROUTINELY try to cut off your legs out of fear you would dominate their teams if allowed to rejuvenate.

I feel the same way but as far as style of play would fit better in the SEC. But I like Big10 for playoff runs.

@@Wuan2347 That's correct. The SEC wants the flagships in the states of NC and VA with growing populations over FSU/Clemson in states already covered. They are thinking more holistically for the future (as they keep saying.) SEC wants to spread it's footprint, and that's not open to debate. Btw, Florida fans seem excited to separate from FSU long term.

SEC doesn’t want Virginia. What value does that add. Virginia doesn’t dominate in football or TV ratings. If it’s about just adding random states all that does is make all the current schools take less money

Why do you think they would take a pay cut. Just like with Tx and OU were added. They can renegotiate the contract as a whole. Just read any of the contracts for Big10 and or SEC

​@@Mzbbxhfbfnsx Lol. You might want to check again. In viewership FSU is number 9 one spot behind Texas. Oklahoma is all the way down at 26. Clemson is number 19. Both FSU and Clemson are ahead of their in state SEC rivals. Florida is #17 and SCar isn't even mentioned in the top 32.

This just tells me you are weekly trying to troll. Markets are not what they used to be now, with all the internet providers. Back in the day yes, now it's more based off of viewership. FSU is in top 8 of viewership.
