i always tore out my turbo 350 & turbo 400 but i'd use a gear vendor then gm came out the 700r4 or i skipped the 60 and went with 4l80 with a slightly higher than stock stall and always ran 373 gears with 18" with 255/55r18 shoes and I'd cruz all dsy at 80mph at 1800 rpm on the freeways or going back n forth from gilbert to lakeside/pinetop & back never had issue's and was geared just right for my spirited driving

o ya I remembered everytime I did 700r4 I'd do the corvette servo trick for a lil adjustability and firm the shifts up
