Exactly. All these "alternative" ideas seem to function, like "infinite energy" or similar, but without any load attached. The efficiency of this mechanism in transferring torque and power seems to be very low, anyway.
@@johnw4590 excellent observation, friction,heat, and the undersized bars. It’s a interesting concept but I concur, it’s useful lifespan would be short. Linear bearings possibly lubricant impregnated bushings might improve its survival rate some.
@@tristengerhardt6748 I can think of a few applications. I think with the right bearings possibly liner and instead of 90’ bends 90’ radius it would be worth a try. The great thing about this video is the conversations it generated the exchange of knowledge and opinions.
