And because its appealing more to Gen X and Boomers, they're not going to grow up and move on and change their beliefs like a vast majority of the kids influenced in 2012-2017 did. This is now stable income for her to grift this way. The wild thing is that if Arielle stuck to her guns, and remained an open-minded and positive content creator.. she probably would have blown back up again. But at the time, she was literally part of the targeted demographic of this centrist/right wing boom. They hated her for being pro-LGBT and sex positive. She was seen as a weird lesbian. So she chose to jump ship and conform with them. I used to really enjoy her content but I had to stop. She also entered a weird groomy phase with 16-19 year old transmed kids that icked me TF out.

Because they don't want to come off as "partisan" which is how our political system works, it quickly becomes a team sport, you oppose the other side as a matter of principal, so in order to push and influence folks you play as a "neutral" party. The reality is it's all a propaganda scheme by the right wing to try and funnel the younger gens into conservatism. Because many of us who were expected to become more conservative as we got older simply didn't become more conservative, if anything a lot of us got more radicalized and went further left. So the conservative party is a literal and figurative dying party, they need fresh young blood to stay relevant.

Yeah, it’s so harmful for the trans community as whenever someone does detransition, it always gets so much attention. So thankful that you’re one of those people who still respect trans people despite figuring out that transitioning wasn’t the right choice for you. I haven’t medically transitioned yet, but I’ve been out as a trans man for almost 4 years. So many people (even my own family and doctor) have questioned if I’m only doing this because I’m hopping on a trend/want to live as a man because it’s just ‘easier’. I’m just so fed up of these assumptions.If it wasn’t for that, I would have probably figured out my gender a lot sooner.

from what i found, its actually from seattle pride a few years ago or last year. Seattle has no nudity laws so its perfectly legal to walk, swim or cycle in public while nude.

Lesbians are homosexual girls/women which means they are only sexually attracted to cisgender girls/women, but if you are also sexually attracted to transgender girls/women, then you are not homosexual, but *polysexual* (like me). As a cisgender woman myself, I am only sexually attracted to female cisgenders and transgenders, but not to male cisgenders and also not to male transgenders, that makes me a polysexual.

@@Rainbow_Warrior_Princess a lesbian is any fem gendered person who is exclusively attracted to other fem gendered people, regardless of their gaab. you can't define a stranger's orientation for them. if polysexual is a label that works for you, that's awesome, keep at it. but that doesn't mean you can tell someone else they aren't a lesbian. even you take out nb people out of the conversation, a woman who is attracted to other women, and currently dating another woman (trans women are women after all) can definitely call herself a lesbian.

@@maroonai No, you are wrong. I just informed her of her correct label which is polysexual, if she still identifies as lesbian, of course she can claim that, but it is not right. Also men who are sexually attracted to cisgender and transgender women are not heterosexual either, but polysexual. And you also cannot identify as bisexual if you are attracted to all genders, because the correct term for that is pansexual / omnisexual. And by the way 'gay' is not an umbrella term, but 'queer' is. Sorry if I sound knowledgeable and instructive, but I just don't like it when people use the wrong terms for their sexual orientation, so I have the urge to correct them, even if that makes me pedantic and fussy. 😌

This is a debate within the community as old as at least the 50s. You have the assimilate LGBT vs the break the mold LGBT. You can ask this to any LGBT person and you will instantly know their leanings. Gay rights were built on assimilation. We just want to get married and live our lives as heterosexual, which is why older LGBT ppl have this view.
