One month later and the transplants all survived! Some of them are slow in growing compared to plants in the wild but they did continue to grow! Here they are 4 weeks ago:

Make a book with the plant name and use. It would be nice to have an accurate weed identifier.

I haven't had notification of your videos for so long and was delighted to catch this video. How timely since I am digging through zoysia grass at our new house to create an herbal / medicinal / lovely weed garden. My first transplant were mullein, chickweed, comfrey and stinging nettle. They are all thriving. Today, in the forest abutting our property, I identified some Perennial Yellow Woundwort. I was surprised since I thought in only grew in Europe. Perhaps I have misidentified it and will continue my research on it. I am curious, how do you use the thistle? We also have it in the forest. Nice to see your videos again. Happy you are still sharing your encyclopedia of information. Thank you!

Nice to hear from you again!!! It has been awhile! With gloves, I peel the young stems (removing leaves and barbs) and and sometimes eat them with a homemade hummus or pesto!

- Hi, Karen! Cinquefoil means "five leaves", and ours here in the southern states do have five leaflets per stem, while otherwise looking much like little strawberry plants. - The Yarrow in my garden keeps coming back every spring, and has some of the same chemical properties as Artemisia Absinthium, which does not survive our north Arkansas winters. Love ya!

How are you!? It does mean that, and we have them here too but this is a potentilla! Potentilla norvegica ... rather unique. I hope life is treating you well!

@@EdibleWildFood-1 I suffered with the bad hip 1 whole year while exploring alternatives to replacement. I finally gave up recently and let them do it. Two weeks into recovery now and able to walk from room to room without the walker.

Always exciting to discover new video releases from you.👏What was that minty plant at the end, please? Flower sort of looks like henbit... I keep finding plants with same large leaves, growing individually... Stellar job transplanting a commendable assortment of nature's little treasures💎. Hard to find much wild yarrow, but yours looks like it'll get kicking.... Seems they like a lot of dense ground cover, surrounding them...? TY🫡

@@EdibleWildFood-1 So cool, ty!🫡 Do you also find those pungent when young? Big ones smell/taste great! Foraged some Dame's Rocket and unidentified yellow flowers growing between purple and white rocket (with same height and leaves, but smaller dense bundle [bract?] of flowerettes on top) Any clue, please?🤔 Also, I've compiled a trove of 🌼flower🌼 pics if perhaps they could ever serve some benefit to you. Free, of course😬
