Love how people are getting Elvis and Lars confused. Ha just because someone has a Mohawk doesn't mean it's Lars. And Lars was never in the transplants.
TRUE! BUT. did anyone notice Lars singing on the opening chorus for "We Trusted You" off the Transplants self titled album? I've been listening to Rancid since 1994, so I don't know if it just didn't register in my brain that it was Lars, bcuz I've always noticed Tim and sum1 else singing the opening hook but it wasn't til today that I listened to the song in my headphones and conscientiously thought "HOLY SHIT, THAT'S LARS SINGING!" I also know Tim wrote a buncha songs with Lars for both Lars & The Bastards albums and vice versa with Tim's A Poet's Life.
The song is "Saturday Night" from Travis Barker's "Give the Drummer Some". It was pretty much a hip-hop album with beats made by Travis. Lot of people would say he's the most popular member of Transplants, so it'd make sense that they'd support him.
conan plays guitar i know, and when rancid played on the tonight show last year when conan did it he said something like "thanks again for the guitar" when he shook tim's hand after the song was done.
I've been ridin for the T-plants ya que la dia numero uno!!! So I hate to say this, but this song and performance are extremely underwhelming. That's the nicest way I can put it. I hope they dont get complacent and lose that hunger and fire!
Yeah i don't like this as much i think its good that trav is releasing his talents on a solo album and that he didn't just use idiots to feature in it but he got his own bands. But i think that the transplants when they are live (and yes i have seen other live vids) is basically travis showing his talents too much, skinhead rob barely singing tim just holding his guitar to look good and elvis playing a couple of riffs but he should probably get more credit considering he is the current guitarist
Everyone in this band are considered sellouts which is just hilarious that people would say that about Tim. Never signed to a big label, made his own label, has made music he likes. Signs a distribution to Warner and now his name is in the mud.
i want to hire a sexy housekeeper for my big mansion, and hire a sexy housekeeper, anybody from this band know any good places to go and any nice places to see, and a nice person to hire let me know.
this is punk crossed with hip-hop and rap. nothing to do with travis being "better" than anyone it's simply trav playin his stuff he likes. if he enjoys it why bitch about it?
why does this sound like a song Tim would sing in. He just looks the part way too much. It's hard to believe he is part of the reason punk still exists.
I prefer Conan the Barbarian. A great Viking song, please listen. En flott Viking-sang, vær så snill å hør. Отличная песня викингов, пожалуйста, послушайте. En fantastisk vikingesang, hør venligst. Een geweldig Vikingnummer, luister alsjeblieft. Ein großartiges Wikingerlied, bitte hör zu. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-w1mKiIC4_yQ.html
