On February 25th 2024, Sydney Metro held a community open day at the new Victoria Cross Station, allowing the public to get a first look at the station prior to its official opening.

Hi Sean 👋 this is a very comprehensive tour of Victoria Cross Metro Station, which I really enjoyed. I can imagine that this is the deepest Station on the system. I am not sure if I like the design with so many white walls, which to me resembles a set in a science fiction movie. Great presentation. Well done, Sean 👏 👍

Thanks John! Glad you enjoyed this tour. I believe it is indeed the deepest station, but Barangaroo wouldn’t be far off either. They could have incorporated other colours to make it more colourful, but I guess they wanted consistency throughout the station. Would still rate it as my favourite out of the new stations I’ve seen so far with how unique its appearance is

Metro train line in Sydney sucks and the other train line as well. And all the other transport in Sydney it is so had to get around on Sydney transport. I wish it was easier to get around
