At first glance Tendi would be a great choice as the best TP officer, but digging a little deeper and you find that her 215% max hull boost is more like 30% or less. This is due to all the power creep in the game, we have two buildings that can give much bigger boosts now. I would agree for newer players she is great but for not for all. 6 of 11 is still the #1 tp officer in my opinion.
I agree, Tendi is definitely not my nmr1 for a big grind you can hardly see a difference in the end but Picard can be a charm for a different hostile grind crew for those that don’t have him.
I'm so happy they added these new officers but I wish they would've lowered the cost of all but the newest TP officers down to 10K like the OG officers.
With Swarm Sunday and the Outlaw Officer pull, I wouldn't waste Transporter Patterns on Khan. Important, yes, but not worth dumping TPs into when there's so many other officers that. could use them.
I must be learning from your videos, the moment D'vana came up I used all my transporter patters I'd been saving for 3of11 on her... and I regret nothing! Nice to now see confirmation I made a good decision for my game, having now seen your video lol But then I think the server I'm on must have different RoE rules as no PvP is allowed in token systems, so protected cargo is more for generic use... suppose that's what influenced my decision about which between 3of11 and D'vana to focus on first lol.
What is the reasoning behind stockpiling 40m officer xp and 650k transporter patterns? Spending that officer xp, even on junk officers, would let you level up the mess hall, and the transporter patterns would help you tier up (from what I've seen in the video) officers that are critical for armadas and away teams missions.
You hit a point where any officer you have left to level up also costs Faction Credits of some kind, so even though you can level them all up, they cost 4k or 11k Faction credits you don't want to waste. And saving up that many Transporter patterns, things like this is why you save it, they add new officers and now you can instantly max out a previously unavailable one.
Tendi is a great help bd on my Kelly, and finally sourcing for Picard but his price 😭, 180 to unlock then another 180 to tier up hate to think what the shard count from t2 to t3 is. NO more armadas we are overly fatigued and they gotta increase the rare acc cores or add them to the event store
This is good. Picard finally has sourcing. After 2 years... When are we getting common and uncommon officers that don't cost $500 to complete in a reasonable timeframe? When was the last time we even got an uncommon officer? And stop the armadas. Cold turkey stop them. So tired of doing them. And I'm an organizer for Formadas. Herding cats is stressful given how bad the chat system in game is. And adds to my personal armada fatigue.
Some perks for Geordi, I use him with Mudd to boost the crit chance on the 12 Data Shard ATA. I also use Troi over on the ATA Credit + Latinum ATA for boosting the crit chance there as well. Not critical importance but gives a reason to consider throwing patterns at them after more important officers are taken care of just for better stats for better ATA rewards.
I was already contemplating walking away even though I've dropped around 4k on this game... this new update may have sealed the deal... going FTP for awhile and see how it goes. One thing is for sure though, scopely isn't getting another penny for quite awhile unless they start listening...
Here's a question, what's a good crew to go up against those freebooters. My best ship against the lowest level freebooters and I could only hit one ship then repair. No matter what crew, it's the same results. I've tried all the classic combos.
@@Rkos7 Some of my alliance member did use those and they got stronger ships, it still wasn't as effective. I tried those also but my best ship is only at 3 million.
Pike, Moreau and Chen/tlaan. In the beginning they overpowered Moreau but the damage have come down. You can also try Beverly, with khan and Decius. If you have hugh below decks then I would sub gorkon for khan.
Tendi's a good officer, but maybe a bit exaggerated to say the best below deck officer. I don't even think she's even the best below deck in the transporter pattern selection Hugh is obviously Waaaaaaay better for Hostile grinding, to crit so much is a huge difference in how many hostiles you can kill Mariner is also probably a bigger impact, extra weapon damage usually is better than slightly more survivability Odo for sure is another, extra damage to all crits, especially paired with Hugh is big Tom Paris is more situational, but Paris combined with a PMC crew is amazing, because PMC doesn't help your actual mitigation, so for people like 49 and under he's great The big thing is with so many other things that give +Hull Health, 215% is actually about 5.5%, but less things increase weapon damage, so a +180% weapon damage is about 12% depending on your level and other research. I'd tend to rank Lower deck officers as: Hugh >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Odo > Paris > Mariner > Tendi > others... for PvE and PvP: Kira > Odo > Mariner > Tendi > Rutherford I think as a general rule, things that create more damage actually help you more in both PvP and PvE, your best way to save hull damage is to shorten every fight by killing them quicker. Always comes down to specifically what are you killing, but if you can shave a combat from like 7 rounds to 6, that's way better than a 5-6% bonus to hull.
With Original Pike and Strange New Worlds crews, can someone Explain Why I need Picard any more? Honest question. There are so many officers that do what he can do better and easier from what I can tell. Obsolete before he was sourced
@@evh3811 Are you saying after level 50? I've been Pike and Moreau with Chen for so long but I've played since the game began and they've been maxed for so long. Maybe leveling up Picard but at this point, is he worth the patterns off other officers for a FTP?
@@DrewskiTheRed if you have Beverly and the specific officers yes. PMC stops working at 50 and SNW Pike crew underperforms to me and I have them upgraded. Picard, Beverly and Riker wil do well for you against feds at any level and against all ship types
Ll quicker to obtain pike than Picard 180 shards @11k per V pike 100 shards at 10k per In fact with new players given half pike in field training you can get 2 for cost of 1 Picard.
Can't wait for the officer list in transporter patterns to be a mile long. Ugh, how difficult is it to remove an officer from transporter patterns if you have them maxed? Come on Scopely.
Obviously this is subjective, but Picard wouldn't even place top ten in my list, I unlocked him back in the TNG arc but due to his weak sourcing, just defaulted to Pike before advancing into the 50s and switching to SNW. Scopely goofed big time with Picard, they kept his sourcing weak until he just became obsolete.
They ought to decrease the prices of all the "old" officers to 1000 per shard. Its stupid they still have increased prices for having been added "recently"...
Georgiou good to fuel Tal Max Kang very good on the Voyager/r46 against Bio Ships 6/11 the unarguably best Officer Marcus/Charv as well as Kang will always help you well against the pesky mission bosses Khan, you get him slowly in store packs and swarm sundays, but if you want to speed it up a little, hes great for fighting and as below deck officer for stats Tendi is nice to have, but will drown in the other boni
Dude if you pirate in tokenareas you make them essentially useless - that is an extreme dickmove and I hope people hunt your for it where ever you go. We have ROE on our server that mostly works, thank god.

My problem is the game keeps adding more and more to do. Not to mention the so called sale prices which are just plain crazy. Then when you go to turn in what you mined 1 chest has a cost but 2 or 3 is not a multiple of 1 but gets more ridiculous the more you want to trade. So upgrading your ships is costly to say the least. So total cost of playing this game is out of control and is bringing my game play to an end. It seems you only plan to screw players in everything you introduce.
@EnderSword well lets say your lucky enough to fill up killing 4 ships there with your miner. Your miner has a pvp crew on it rather than an increase cargo crew so you lose there also you just cost 5 tokens total so theres that and noone has any reason to bother mining there.
@@mattwhitely1067 You don't have to have a PvP crew on if you have a bigger/stronger miner. Some servers don't have that same level of RoE, and you might be at war with other alliances too, invalidating RoE. Plus there's the time savings, can spend like 48 hours mining or go fill a cargo in like 5 minutes
