@alexrobinson2281 This only works if the shunter didnt do this to put it on the bay🫣 they dont always bother with red air line to put it on the bay so the trailer doesnt always have enough air in trailer to do it
Usually you always split couple the dfds trailers they bars are a pain in the arse but I think they had problems with drivers missing the pin and smashing the fridge. The fridge should get turned on as you get to it to make sure it works and check the fuel and most of the time dfds set them to 0 or 1 degree for fresh fish . I didn’t know how to change the temps and when I was running a back load of bananas out is Luton for dfds I had to google to change it from 0 to 14c . Fortunately a really helpful RU-vid video popped up ! Good work keep it up
Hahahahah, aye I think I’ll do that for next time mate, lesson learned for sure, nothing better than sitting in a lay-by watching a RU-vid video trying to work out how to use something
@@ShaunThomson_ I might need to actually ask them next time I’m in 😂 Keep getting told off for not wearing my hi vis or boots when I’m out taking photos as well 🤌🏼
Always check what the fridge is set at +3 chill , -22 frozen and plenty fuel in the belly tank , was that stracathro services you were in need a check book prices are expensive for food keep it chappin 😂👍
If you're picking up a fridge trailer again...always switch it on for a little bit at least just to check it working! And check the fuel too! Just w couple of mistakes I've made in the past lol
Think you should connect susies before you fully connect to 5th wheel as it give you more room between fridge and cab the back right under and tug test… think that’s what I would do 🤷🏻♂️👍😂
@@ShaunThomson_ btw loving your videos pal and the way you put your self over. My message was not a dig at all but saw another guy do that. Keep the videos coming bud 🏴🤙🏻😎
@@davidstewart2884 sorry mate just read my reply back I’m doing those on the laptop and don’t have emojis makes the comment I said back sound so dry, cheers big man i appreciate that
44 ton of fish, would that not make you over loaded? Used to be in DFDS Aberdeen every Saturday doing collections for France, started in Fraserburgh, Peterhead
