தெளிவாக விளக்கி காணொளி செய்துள்ளீர்கள். மிக மிக நன்று. மென்மேலும் எதிர்பார்க்கிறோம்.

Sir great video but at 11:00 there is a mathematical error that went unnoticed . 54/2.7 should be 20 not 20.7 . But aside from that great video.

Hello sir, In that second problem for dynamic/fatigue loading we will be using stress concentration factor to divide the given stress values, this means we have to reduce the total load value in dynamic calculation ? Since we are using the same total load value as we used in the static load calculation. If right means what is the reason sir.
@themechanicalengineer
@themechanicalengineer 2 года назад
Yes... That is why we have reduced the allowable stress of the material.

Sir to find load p we need to use sigmaT (tensile) or tao
@themechanicalengineer
@themechanicalengineer 2 года назад
For transverse fillet weld we should consider Tao, in case of parallel fillet weld we should consider sigma.

11:15 sir why the P remains unchanged (65625) in dynamic loading eventho the stress is changed.................. reply plzzzzz
@themechanicalengineer

In this problem, we are considering the maximum load-carrying capacity (P) of the plate to design the weld. There are two parts: first, calculating the load-carrying capacity of the plate, and second, determining the size of the weld. We will transfer the value of P to the second step.

Sir at 4.30, why we r not considering weld run=12.5 So that, actual length=42+12.5
@themechanicalengineer
@themechanicalengineer Год назад
Weld size (h) is entirely different from weld length... h is a cross section dimension of weld...

@@themechanicalengineer sir I m talking about weld run , some extra weld assumptions in many books
@themechanicalengineer
@themechanicalengineer Год назад
I haven't considered that...

@@themechanicalengineer Is it necessary to consider the weld run 12.5 mm in exams??
