Hi Samatha, it's so nice to see a video where a trans woman talks about progesterone. I am on HRT for nearly one year now, but only using progesterone on a cycle, so about 75 days have passed now. But I only used 100mg because, as you said, more does not mean you get more necessarily - I think progesterone has been great for my sleep quality, and I have been told - by other women, that I am 'rounding out' or getting a nice, natural looking shape. My face / hair is softer for sure, as is my skin, but on progesterone, I have more rounder hips, shapely chest. and my nipples are more prominent and rounded. So I feel very positive on HRT. Hi Rachel! Thank you so much for sharing your experience. Really happy for you that you are getting all the benefits of progesterone. I wish I had started progesterone earlier in my transition. I am 2 years hrt. Only started prog 4 months ago and my body and mind are different. I am a tomgirl as in my vids as i do not wear makeup etc, but i feel like a whole person for the first time. Good luck with your changes👍🌹🌺
You are welcome! As far as I know, there are only two dosage options 100mg and 200mg a day. My endo doesn’t test it because it metabolizes really quickly so the blood work isn’t really accurate. Their recommendation is to see how you feel after a month or so then adjust dosage if needed.
