Cosmin Dumitrache, the cameraman who directed together with photographer Dan Dinu the documentary #RomâniaSălbatică, captured more than just the landscape, he immortalised the soul of the area: the people who live in the Transylvanian Highlands.

Together with Mioritics Association and Mihai Eminescu Trust Foundation, WWF Romania implemented the PACT2020: Active Partnership Model in the Transylvanian Highlands project which through education and information supported people to become a voice in local decision-making.
The project was implemented with the financial support of the Active Citizens Fund Romania, through the EEA Grants 2014-2021.
