The original PC release of Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness contained heavily compressed dialogue and sound effects. For the Definitive Edition this has been fixed by porting over audio files from the PS2 version, which have better sound quality. On top of that the sound quality has been improved even further manually. Dialogue has also been improved by fixing the delayed lipsync during conversations.
