I mean there’s interviewers who respond to every question with their own insight and opinion on the matter being discussed and then there’s interviewers who just asks questions, acknowledge what was said, and move on to the next question so it’s all an interpretation of what the interviewee said. It all comes down to your liking I guess, it’s just different styles like in everything else.

"he's literally just doing internet investigations as an individual" you must be asleep if you think that. Dude has a whole fckn production team working for him. When he first started out he was doing it by himself, but when his name and channel started getting some traction and money started coming in, he hired people to do all the work for him. I don't doubt that he's a rap fan (as he puts it) but he's definitely not as interested in the culture as what he makes out. He doesn't even bother to check the work that the people he's hired have done - look at all the videos where he's had to retract things that his editor or his researcher have gotten wrong (he has no problem putting the blame onto them) he acts like he knows so much about the culture, but gets so many things wrong, he has to Google the most basic questions on his livestreams so he doesn't fck up, and people label him as some sort of "expert" he just found a niche, capitalised on it, then handed all the work off to other people while he collects the money. Dude's a complete fraud.
