@@Dimitrischtz they played taxi cab for a good part of the trench tour back in 2019, so we might see some self titled on some dates of the tour (hopefully)
That crowd reaction. To be there would be insane. An entire crowd singing every word toma song Tyler wrote in his basement when he had no idea that anyone would even hear it.
If ST ever gets rerecorded I might pass away. Can you imagine Trapdoor or Fall Away in modern quality (without the audience singing along) with Tyler's decades of new skills???? Holy shit
Although Tyler's vocals have improved, you can tell what style he was going for when he made these songs. I love how you can tell these are HIS songs, and he didnt really care if he was being "vocally incorrect" when creating Trapdoor,IOFB (and a lot of their Self Titled) . He sings it how he wants and it's the correct way, cuz it's HIS music, he wasn't trying to sound like anyone else at the time, and he still doesn't, but i mean in the way he can come back and change the sound a bit cuz he's definitely had some extra vocal coaching once they got big
Dude the ending of Isle of Flightless birds is so emotional. Just look at how he sings that last verse, I genuinely think these old songs trigger some unpleasant memories from his past.
Damn, I've been out of this phase for YEARSSS and only occasionally revisit these albums, I still relatively keep up with the band, but I can't believe I still know every word
This is crazy. Both of these tracks were my favorite songs in 2017 and I haven't listened to them since due to a bad correlation I started to have. Maybe this is a sign to dust them off in the playlists!
i really hope they play some of the old songs on the tour, those are the songs that made most of us part of this, the ones that helped us in the hard times, it would be a bless hearing that again and live..
I didn't wanted to spoil myself of what they were playing in this small shows just in case they come to my city but man I'm so happy to know they are playing these!! Of my favorite songs of ALL TIME!!
Y'all are my tribe! The person whose hand goes along to the lyrics, this is totally me vibing, but in the nosebleeds representing these talented boys, we all love so much! ❤ |-/
I put all of the albums in a playlist for work. The dogs like it. I love this album❤️❤️ saw Tyler saying no "cool" way to hold a ukele...now he has a strap💃😁
Really had to say “josh is shirtless” during the most touching heartfelt moment of the performance of a song that we’ll probably never hear live ever again and haven’t for years No yeah that detail was definitely necessary and didn’t completely ruin it for me at all, I was able to look right past the skipping because it was an accident but that shit was just disrespectful to the performance. I am indeed quite salty, call me out for it that’s fine, you are correct. It bothers me a lot.
Def accidental, Tyler often forgets lyrics of songs that old. It's normal, tho, it was such a blessing to see they played Trapdoor this year, would be wonderful to be added to the official setlist
I think he just forgot the line “he thinks that faith might be dead” because he sang the rest of the second verse properly. It also sounds like hesitated when he sang “he wakes up early today” instead of the proper line. Could be wrong though
The line “nobody knows his real name, now he just uses one he saw on a grave” is in trapdoor. The song hasn’t been played in 14 years. Why bring it up for the Clancy era? Because Tyler’s not the original Clancy? Because Clancy did die? Now Tyler is just using Clancy’s name as his name? He’s overtaking his former self by using a name he saw on a grave that cause pain and chaos in dema. Thas my theory
Notice how he doesn't sing "... more su1cidal than ever now" Is he not allowed to say "su1cidal" or does he not want to as maybe he doesn't feel that way anymore as he used to when writing the song. Just thoughts
